Great Motel at a great price. The beds were so comfortable and the room clean with everything needed. Fast response to questions regarding what is available in the room and easy to grab a toaster to make breakfast. 100% recommend whether staying with kids or as a couple. Awesome value for money. Great little cabin with everything we could have needed. The holiday park is right on the river with perfect facilities to have a fish. The coffee van was an awesome surprise, really cute seating area and beautiful coffee to start the day. Staff were amazing and the park is beautiful

It was interesting to discover the History of this little...

It was interesting to discover the History of this little town. enjoyed the Fed buildings dotted about; enjoyed seeing the Scottish Heritage clues - Tartan painted telegraph poles, bilingual street names. enjoyed seeing the denominational cemetery and how even in death the different religions like to be separated! Interesting to drive through sugarcane country and to see the majestic Clarence river up close!

Maclean was a small nice town and it is really close to...

Maclean was a small nice town and it is really close to Yamba in NSW, recommend for a weekend short stay with family and friends, walk around this small town. Recommend Botero Cafe & Roastery, their coffee and fruit & nut toast were super nice.

We came for the October long weekend and stayed Saturday...

We came for the October long weekend and stayed Saturday night. We arrived early so we could see the town but sadly most things closed at 12pm or some things weren’t open at all, leaving us with 3 hours of having nothing to do and nowhere to visit for 3 hours until we were able to check in.

Cute, quirky main street with lovely old buildings. Gorgeous river, fantastic op shops. Great steak at Argyll Hotel Fun local market coincided with my visit. Checkout the panoramic views from the lookout.

A small country town which was clean and buildings well...

A small country town which was clean and buildings well maintained. However they had a great pub - the Argyle hotel. This hotel had very good food and the setting in the old hotel was excellent. The staff were very friendly and I recommend to all to visit it.

The owners were awesome. They returned my messages when needed. We had a lovely welcome gift of wine and chocolates. We are left fresh eggs from her feathered girls. The tiny home was immaculately clean. It was located in a quiet location by a river. We ventured out into Maclean which has an amazing pub with great food. Great touristy location with historical buildings. We were able to relax and enjoy our stay. Highly recommended it !

A very new, clean and well equipped cabin in a handy location. It was a perfect easy stopover on our road trip north. The managers were very friendly and helpful. Can highly recommend Maclean Riverside Cabins for a short or long stay.
