We loved the old 1840 s cottage seeped in history. Very luxurious. Beds very comfortable. A beautiful setting on Jacobs Estate where it was a lovely short walk to both St Hugo’s boneyard and Jacobs Creek. A welcome food hamper was extremely generous with delicious local ingredients. We all enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this accommodation.

There are many wineries to visit and a number of nice restaurants to dine in. We ate at The Lou's, Maggie Beer's and The Vintners. I think Vintners was the best. Food was tasty and the price was correct.

The new owners had just refreshed the rooms and were done in a retro style, very comfortable and suited us not just for convenience of location as we visited Adelaide for a wedding in Lyndoch, but for access to the Barossa valley and the wineries/distilleries in the area.

Lyndoch is a beautiful little town, very quaint and a good starting point to travel around the Barossa Valley. Lyndoch pub is good for a meal and also the Lord Lyndoch. We love all of the Barossa Valley and visit quite often

Lovely place to stay and explore the area.

Lovely place to stay and explore the area. We were there specifically to visit Maggie Beer Farm shop, it was a birthday gift to me. An amazingly beautiful serene place to visit. Went to the local pub for a meal, excellent food and very large serves.

Lyndoch is a great little town with lots to see and do.

Lyndoch is a great little town with lots to see and do. A trip to the tourist information centre is a must before you begin. The staff at the place I was staying, were most helpful and informative. They were able to assist in providing information about special deals at places to see while I was visiting. Two for one lunch meals, drink specials, days tours of wineries and the list goes on. Helped me to save so I could do and see more. Lyndoch is a great place and I highly recommend to stay when touring the Barossa of South Australia.

The hotel was clean and while it wasn’t luxurious, it had everything one needs for overnight stays. We only had to walk a dozen steps to get into the dining room/bar. Nice and quiet and good value for money

This is our second visit to The Dairyman. We love the farm environment, the feeding of the pigs and watching the cows come in for milking. Being among the vines. We enjoyed walking through the paddocks up to the top of the hill. Beautiful views. Michael is a very friendly generous host. The accommodation is very comfortable and well fitted out. The breakfast provisions are just amazing... The sausages, ham and butter which are produced onsite, the wine from a local vineyard and fresh crusty bread makes for a feast! Highly recommend.

Norm's Vineyard Retreat absolutely exceeded our expectations from the view, to the facilities, the food provided and the outstanding communication by the host Billie. It's the little things that count when booking a homestead and at Norm's 'everything' was thought of! It's so close to some of our outstanding wineries and little regional towns filled with cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. We will most definitely return and refer this amazing Lyndoch destination to all our family and friends!

The location is great: able to cycle to the nearby valley & vineyards, down the road to the local shops/pub, under an hour to Adelaide CBD. The place itself is good: everything matches the facilities listed. The caretakers were superb, very quick to respond & helpful with the local area.

Amazing breakfast spread! Thank you! The cottage was really charming, and the fireplace a dream. Bathroom exquisite, and bedroom too of course. All in all, a great stay, with a fantastic location, within easy drive of most Barossa Valley sights.

We loved the atmosphere, the room and the friendliness of the staff, along with the location. The town was very peaceful. Lyndoch wasn't far from Gawler which also has much historical value to explore.
