Loved this classic old hotel in the heart of Lorne. It has been very nicely updated. The bathroom was very well appointed. Loved that the hotel was generous in providing a few welcome drinks, and that we could just walk down the stairs for a great meal in the bistro. Very friendly staff. Lots to do around town.

Beautiful property in a great location. The home was perfect for us to spend family time together. The home was cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy at time here. The beds were comfortable and the home was extremely clean and evidently cared for.

If you are new to Australia, Qdos offers an opportunity to spend time among nature. For me, I wanted to experience the outdoors in preference to an "in town" hotel or similar. Gill as a host was superb and made me feel very much at home from the first minute. Breakfast we very enjoyable, I chose a local Sourdough bread as one of several options. The rooms are private and offer much more of a "get away from it all" experience than might be the case with a traditional hotel.

The location and views were spectacular - so much better than expected! Brilliantly equipped with all you could need for your stay. Restaurants and bars within easy walk and the beach is just over the road. Lovely friendly and helpful staff and really good value for money.

Our visit to Lorne was enjoyable, thanks to the combination of good dining options, hospitable people, and the abundance of activities available in this pleasant beachside destination. The restaurants in the area fulfilled our expectations, providing satisfying meals and service. Additionally, the locals were friendly and contributed to a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. There is a wide range of activities on offer, giving visitors plenty to choose from during their time here. The region is located along the coast, offering beautiful beachfront scenery and opportunities to enjoy the seaside. The staff at the information center were welcoming and helpful. Overall Impression: Our visit to Lorne was enjoyable, thanks to the combination of good dining options, hospitable people, and the abundance of activities available in this pleasant beachside destination.

Lorne is a beautiful location, cabin was comfortable, clean & with good facilities. Location of cabin was not acceptable being metres from a receivable & loading dock which operates daily & very early in the morning.

Have a wonderful time everything was very central amazing view from the room. The beach is so close to restaurants are so lovely. Everyone was so helpful. The toy shop lady was amazing like the bookshop lady. I didn’t get their names. It was just a lovely, lovely, relaxing place and to recharge had a wonderful time everything was very central amazing view from the room.

Lorne is a beautiful sea side stop with many facilities, like Restaurants from different corners of the world, Greek cuisine, Mexican, modern Australian, Vietnamese and others, surrounded by great beaches and excellent scenery all year round.

I love Lorne in all seasons.

I love Lorne in all seasons. The beach is great in warmer months and the forests are great all year round. Plenty of walks, lots of good cafes and restaurants, the newly renovated Grand Pacific Hotel is insane. It's a sleepy town in Winter, but I like that very much - it's so cosy, lots of places have fireplaces. I love Lorne.

The government bus service to get to Lorne and Apollo Bay...

The government bus service to get to Lorne and Apollo Bay from Geelong is very cheap and enabled both of us to relax and enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery for the hour long journey, instead of the stress if navigating a very windy road. Lorne is very quaint and well serviced. There are great foreshore walks to have and some level of fitness is required. If you prefer eating and coffee there are plenty of cafes and restaurants plus boutiques for shopping. Thoroughly recommended a visit.

Very well positioned in the Lorne forefront, with the bonus of a private parking lot - these are the only accolades for the place and the Hotel takes advantage of this. That said, the room was pristinely clean and the beds comfortable - however, there was nothing else in particular for this hotel room(s) to be remembered for. In such a good location in Lorne, and for the price paid, one expected a bit more than a room that felt like a well cared for, but very average Australian road-side motel room.

Beautiful and relaxing, magical views from just above the town, so close to the Hotel for a late night meal. Beds comfortable, very clean, quiet with a usable kitchen. Great spot to do as little or as much as you want. We will definitely be back.
