Our visit to Lorne was enjoyable, thanks to the combination of good dining options, hospitable people, and the abundance of activities available in this pleasant beachside destination. The restaurants in the area fulfilled our expectations, providing satisfying meals and service. Additionally, the locals were friendly and contributed to a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. There is a wide range of activities on offer, giving visitors plenty to choose from during their time here. The region is located along the coast, offering beautiful beachfront scenery and opportunities to enjoy the seaside. The staff at the information center were welcoming and helpful. Lorne is a beautiful location, cabin was comfortable, clean & with good facilities. Location of cabin was not acceptable being metres from a receivable & loading dock which operates daily & very early in the morning.

Have a wonderful time everything was very central amazing view from the room. The beach is so close to restaurants are so lovely. Everyone was so helpful. The toy shop lady was amazing like the bookshop lady. I didn’t get their names. I love Lorne in all seasons.

I love Lorne in all seasons. The beach is great in warmer months and the forests are great all year round. Plenty of walks, lots of good cafes and restaurants, the newly renovated Grand Pacific Hotel is insane. It's a sleepy town in Winter, but I like that very much - it's so cosy, lots of places have fireplaces. I love Lorne.

The government bus service to get to Lorne and Apollo Bay...

The government bus service to get to Lorne and Apollo Bay from Geelong is very cheap and enabled both of us to relax and enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery for the hour long journey, instead of the stress if navigating a very windy road. Lorne is very quaint and well serviced. There are great foreshore walks to have and some level of fitness is required. If you prefer eating and coffee there are plenty of cafes and restaurants plus boutiques for shopping. Thoroughly recommended a visit.

This location was stunning. Overlooking the beach and pier and surrounded by wildlife, it was a nice walk along the beach to Lorne, great for kids and parents alike. It has everything you can think of you will need as a family from tupperware and kitchen foil to toiletries and clothes dryer. Great house! We will be back for sure.
