There is an abundance of scenic look outs, beautiful gardens, waterfalls and history everywhere. Large number of eating options. We joined the Katoomba RSL and enjoyed the dining there which was very good value for money

We haven't been for awhile so it was great to see the changes for the better re Three Sisters. Katoomba seems to be losing a lot of their interesting shops. The street art could with a tidy up and some new pieces in Beverley Street. Good to see more of it around. We went to the art gallery in their library and had an interesting visit. Good views outside there too.Japanese restaurant near the laneway on main street had wonderful food.

Katoomba, well, bring your money. Everything costs.

Katoomba, well, bring your money. Everything costs. Even the parking if going to the supermarket. $4 an/hr. Just wow. If you are an early riser, then you are shite out of luck. Could only find 1 coffee shop open before 7.30am, across from the RSL. Great coffee, good prices, excellent service, give it a go. Nothing else opens till after 8am. Get to the 3 sisters and some other local stuff before 9am and the parking is free, also you will have the place to yourself, not many other visitors before 8am. Give the RSL a go, good prices on drinks and food.

The friendly helpful country people.

The friendly helpful country people. Katoomba offered a variety of diverse shops which we found entertaining as we had both been to the blue mts before and had chosen Katoomba for a catch up as we hadn’t been together for six years. Vegetarian omelette at the little French cafe along with and excellent coffee featured highly on our priorities. We both agreed Katoomba is a friendly well appointed country town and comfortably accessed by rail. Jacqui larsen

Being an artist and writer-I enjoyed taking pictures to sketch when I get home. I love the old Bookshop / Opp Shop in downtown Katoomba! The library to check a few information for my writing. I stopped at the Cultural Centre to see an exhibition. Took pictures of Street Art! Hopped on the local bus-great service. I told them so. Did a short bush walk as well. Getting too old for the long walks!!!

It’s a beautiful town with lots to do and beautiful scenery surrounding it. We stayed at the Mountain Heritage Hotel which was fantastic, and so beautiful with amazing views. I really enjoyed walking around the Main Street checking out all the cool shops and cafes, visiting Odd mountain was definitely a highlight and so was having pizza for dinner at Rustico. Katoomba Falls was also a beautiful spot that I’ll remember forever. I’d love to visit again

Loved staying at this charming boutique hotel that was perfect for an overnight stay, literally 50 metres from the Katoomba train station. Great staff, communicative. The sheets and oversized pillows were starched-white and ultra fresh and clean, which is always very welcome. Ask for a room with a view.

This is a cozy hotel in the middle of Katoomba. It has a kitchen where you can cook your own food. The place has a very rustic feel to it with the carpets and wooden floors. The building has its own personality. It was snowing outside, but our room was nice and warm.

The views from the hotel are breathtaking. We were made to feel welcome by the staff right from the start. The room was very comfortable. The location was great and it was easy to walk to the main street of Katoomba with its many cafes, bars and restaurants.

Beautiful old school. Katoomba hotel that's like a time tunnel adventure. 1912 architecture charming. Big bath in room was great to soak after a day's travel and hiking.
