The villa was perfect, in the centre of the town and absolutely the best value for money that was available. The villa was very well equipped with everything you might need. The air conditioning was on and it was so lovely to walk into a warm house in winter, it was so welcoming.

We loved visiting the second hand book store with 1000's of...

We loved visiting the second hand book store with 1000's of books from bygone days! The sweet stores, wood shop with it's hand carved items and gift shops had many unique items. The pie shop and Farmers Market on Sunday morning were also a highlight. Fitzroy waterfalls and the Pioneer museum are a must!

A beautiful ,quiet country town.

A beautiful ,quiet country town. Interesting craft and novelty product shops. Best visited during the week as it can get busy on weekends. Great cafes and the Friendly Inn is a great place to eat. Good food very reasonable in cost.

The township of Kangaroo Valley was lovely, with plenty of...

The township of Kangaroo Valley was lovely, with plenty of options for eating, coffee, etc. Fitzroy Falls is a short drive back up the mountain. Kayaking on Kangaroo River was wonderful and highly recommended. We did a two-hour paddle, which was perfect for us. Plenty of historical towns close by to visit and spend a couple of hours in. Lots of kangaroos and a couple of wombats to see and watch. Need to be careful driving, especially at dusk.

Kangaroo Valley is fabulous for getting away with a quiet relaxing weekend in mind. Beautiful scenery, not so many tourists as you find in Berry and other towns in this area. There are enough facilities/services in town for a great weekend away. If you want to bunk in and just relax in this accomodation, you will need to bring some food as there is no typical supermarket in Kangaroo Valley

KV Safari was a great kayaking down a peaceful river trip- also the town is super cute- as is Berry, but everything shop-wise shuts down around 4 so be prepared for ghost town night vibes-weekend markets are worthy of visiting- it's peaceful and the 'roos and kookaburras are excellent wildlife!

Kangaroo Valley is hidden behind the old bridge - which is...

Kangaroo Valley is hidden behind the old bridge - which is up for sale (maybe the buildings next to it). The scramble down to the water below is lovely and you can swim and stroll along the banks. Shopping is great - especially for food, old records and books. Lots of homemaker stuff and a great nursery. The pub is a must, either cosy up inside or brave the elements outside.

I booked Yarrunga as a special birthday treat for myself and my sons. Adam, Rose and the team at Kangaroo Valley Getaways managed the Yarrunga property. During our stay, there was a lightning storm causing a power outage. They were very responsive, exceptional and compassionate. Adam and Rose made our stay unforgettable. The owners/ hosts were also very thoughtful and I appreciate all the details at this property. Thank you for making this the best birthday weekend ever! We all left with the biggest smiles and laughter filled this home.

A beautiful room in the heart of kangaroo valley. The lovely couple who run this cottage prepared us a stunning grazing platter and even brought us bread and sweets from a local bakery. The room was warm even in a night where the temperature dropped to below 2 degrees and very comfortable. The owners were lovely people and very passionate about making our stay as great as possible. Everything for a great stay in kangaroo valley is here, look no further!
