Great town with everything you need.

Great town with everything you need. The shops, the community, the amenities. The classic Royal Hotel is the pub in town where you get to experience what a real Australian pub is all about. Absolutely wonderful place.

Location was great of this accommodation.

Location was great of this accommodation. The local Vic hotel very average meals. The quaintness and quietness was lovely. Not a place I'd stay longer than a couple of days. Do not stop at the bakery in Ararat.. really bad.. we threw our food... Go to a supermarket or have a BBQ.

I just stayed one night going through Horsham so cannot comment on except to say I did go across to the Victoria hotel for dinner and found the meals were very good and reasonable cost. Would certainly go there again.

Horsham was great we worth the visit Horsham Sportsman Club was the best. Great facility Excellent food staff even a pick-up bus service from motel including discount on food and drink. Thank you thoroughly enjoyed our time there Staff friendly

A large rural town which has something for everyone.

A large rural town which has something for everyone. Stay in a motel or caravan park, and consider visiting some sites including the botanical gardens, the racecourse, have a picnic by the Wimmera river. Easy to drive around and find your way with plenty of parking in town. Friendly staff in the local cafes, shops and RSL. Lots of history to learn about the area. Worth stopping on your way through to Adelaide. The Horsham Agricultural Show is an annual event on the AFL grand final long weekend. I prefer this rural show to the Royal Melb. Show.

Pleasing to find well appointed accommodation and facilities...

Pleasing to find well appointed accommodation and facilities worthy of a three-star hotel rather than a motel. Very modern and comfortable with friendly staff. Stay was a halfway accommodation for a day trip to Adelaide, so no views on Horsham as a place to visit. Would love to have had the opportunity to try the Florenie though, one of Horsham's specialities.

The room and aesthetics (potted plants), cozy vibes, being quite close to many food joints and just half an hour away from Grampians - all of these worked wonderfully during our stay in Horsham! The room was spacious, comfortable and kept clean. Our host (Vicky) was kind and gave us a local map and showed many meal options around Comfort Inn May Park. She went further to provide recommendations for places to visit on the next day! Easily one of the good stays in Horsham.

The cabin was very well equipped and super clean. It is located near a beautiful linear park along a big river with lots of wildlife and a nice atmosphere. It is also next to the small but very beautiful Horsham Botanic Garden. The town centre can be reached easily by walking. BBQ facilities were around as well.

I might say that this is a budget accommodation. We stayed since we couldn't reach the destination on time. We booked at the last minute. The hotel was nice for a short stay, but it may need some upgrades.
