It was a very nice stay with super friendly hosts. The location was very quiet & peaceful. Yet close to beach & restaurants (approx 10 min walk). The outside, but covered, seating area & swimmingpool were wonderful. Seeing & hearing kookaburras, wallabies and koalas from the backyard. Catherine & David are very welcoming hosts who share their house, garden & pool with their guests. Accomodation was spacious with separate bathroom & toilet, very nice room with a good bed & outside seating & fully equipped kitchen. Great tips from the hosts for Magnetic Island! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and if we ever visit Magnetic Island again, we'll definitely stay here!

The accommodation and the owners were amazing! We had such a good time with Dee and AJ. We just started one night, but it was enough to appreciate how good people they are. We were celebrating a birthday and they even improvised a cake with candles!

Fantastic motel and great for families/friend groups. We were a group of 8 staying in two family rooms, which was more than enough space. Pleasantly surprised about the ocean view from balcony, and staff were super accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

The apartment is very close to the ferry terminal on Magnetic Island making it a very easy walk with luggage. The apartment is beautifully furnished with lots of home accessories to make it look very inviting. The towels were gorgeous as was the very comfortable bed. A supermarket is right next door along with car hire etc making the trip very easy to manage. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

wonderful stay at this place. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly receipt . The check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was soft, which allowed me to have a good rest. The facilities in the room were all in good condition. The service during my stay was excellent. The housekeeping was thorough every day. Whenever I had a request, the staff would respond promptly. I am very satisfied with this accommodation and would recommend it to others.

Magnetic Island is beautiful with bush trails to many...

Magnetic Island is beautiful with bush trails to many beaches and vantage points. The flora is wonderfully diverse with giant banyan trees, tropical plants, vines and gum trees - wild koalas are easy to spot on some of the trails. The vibe is low key and nicely humble and it's very easy to get to via Townsville and a short ferry ride. You don't need a car as the bus runs regularly across the island to all the best places. There are also plenty of options for scooter and jeep hire.

Of all the beautiful bays at Magnetic Island, Horseshoe Bay...

Of all the beautiful bays at Magnetic Island, Horseshoe Bay is by far the nicest one. It has great open views of the ocean, a long beach front with beautiful palms and trees providing the necessary shade, and a small but lively little boulevard with a well-assorted local Convenience Store, a few nice beachy shops and a good range of bars and restaurants that offer something for everyone. I specially recommend Barefoot Restaurant and Gallery, which is something you might not expect on a location like this, but they have some beautiful artwork and their food is truly exceptional. All in all, Horseshoe Bay just has that nice chilled island vibe that you're looking for on your vacay.

Horseshoe Bay is at the northern end of Magnetic Island.

Horseshoe Bay is at the northern end of Magnetic Island. It’s not as windy as some of the other bays. And it’s a good spot to do walks from, like the Forts Walk. There is a long stretch of beach to walk on and explore. And lots of water activities to enjoy.

A stunning bay/beach with netted swimming area.

A stunning bay/beach with netted swimming area. Some great cafes/bars, a beautiful art /craft gallery and the lady has lots of local knowledge about the local artists. There is a very relaxed vibe in Horseshoe Bay, not over commercialised like other areas of Magnetic Island. A little Gem.

Horseshoe bay is stunning great location, it has it all tranquility, stunning scenery. Local restaurant and bars serving quality food. Water sports available right on the beach. Lots of walks, a koala sanctuary it’s just great.

The owner Aly was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. She picked us up from the bus stop and let us put our bags somewhere hours before check in so we were able to explore the island. She also gave us access to two bikes with a bike lock so we were able to cycle to horseshoe bay. The accomodation is a short walk from the bus stop where you can access anywhere on the island for a cheap price. I highly recommend the accomodation and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Second time staying here. I loved this place, the cleanliness, the location, and the delicious breakfast. A proper classical bed and breakfast. Deb as a host is responsive, considerate and all is smoothly here. Definitely recommend this place to when visiting horseshoe bay.

Location was great - just across from the beach at Horseshoe Bay, and a short walk to the cafes and restaurants and shops. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment, which was very comfortable and well equipped.
