AustraliaThe owners have put a lot of thought into refurbishing the motel, including charging points in the room and external EV charging points (which we didn’t need but a noticeable nice touch), as well as nice little touches like buckets and squeegees outside every room to clean the bugs if your windscreen. Nice touch.

We enjoyed our stay the facilities were fantastic. So clean with everything you could want. a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds with plenty of extra quilts and blanket. The Wi-Fi was great no buffering,
The owners were exceptional So friendly and helpful and just genuinely down to earth. Would recommend highly and will stay there again next time

The place for an overnight stopover when driving between Melbourne and Canberra/Sydney. Be sure not to miss the submarine in the park on the main street! The museum on the site was more interesting and informative than I expected. I had an excellent dinner in the beautifully renovated Holbrook Hotel, featuring local produce, maybe a little pricier than other options but well worth it.

This town is super friendly, with good food, things to do and just off highway so easily accessible for an overnight stay. But we'd be happy to stay longer, we loved the submarine, the shops, cafes, surrounding environment.

Great halfway point to stop the night when driving from Sydney to Melbourne. Its a quaint town that retains its history and old town feel.
The Holbrook Hotel serves excellent food. Award winning and worth a visit.

Its a really good town.
Its a really good town. The Pubs are good, one very traditional and the other nicely Renno'd with a terrific menu.
Bakery and Butcher is good. Motels on offer are varied so check a few out before booking. Nice to have a wander around and look at the submarine as well.

A busy stop off between Melbourne and Sydney.
A busy stop off between Melbourne and Sydney.
Town itself very well maintained with plenty of parking and eateries.
Focal point is HMAS Otway (submarine)which is always interesting to visit.
Holbrook Sporting ground a great facility.

Room a generous size and with high ceilings. Large and good ensuite. Everything like light switches well located. Freshly painted. Smart for a rural pub, recent revamp of the entire premises very obvious and of a great benefit to Holbrook, which is a town somewhat in need of a revamp.
Food similar to the Holbrook RSL....perfectly OK but not spectacular.

The Motel room had a strange sewerage odour.There was possibly a leak at the base of the toilet
The meal at the hotel was ...in my opinion ..not up to the standard we had read about.
The gentleman welcoming us at the motel was lovely and informative .

Dated building but clean and comfortable rooms. Off the main highway so not much noise. Hotel staff good at communicating via text or call if you need to check in after reception closes. Plenty of parking.
