Location was excellent. Fantastic place to spend a few days to explore all the major hiking trails which are just a short drive away. It's also close to the town centre where you can pick up amenities or dine out in one of the local restaurants. The place is spotless, with comfortable beds.

Halls Gap is a lovely little town that's nestled in amongst the Grampians National Park. We ate at two difference eateries for dinner while we were there for the weekend. Those being the Kookaburra Hotel and Flame Brothers Cafe. Both were excellent and very popular so I highly recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a seat. While you're in Halls Gap one must do activity is to go to Boroka Lookout. The views from there are breathtaking and it only takes approximately 20 mins to get there by car with a very short and easy stroll from the carpark to the actual lookout. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

I enjoyed the walks around there especially at Wonderland. It was good to see the kangaroos in the town parks and the Corellas in the picnic grounds. There were quite a number and variety of places to eat.

We were fortunate to have a beautiful sunny and sit in the...

We were fortunate to have a beautiful sunny and sit in the sun and eat one of the ice-creams from the shop by the stream, local cockatoos sit on the grass waiting for a crumb, but recommended for their health. We ate at the local hotel and viewed Kangaroos, Emus and Deer grazing in the adjoining paddocks. Lake Bellfield is a relaxing place to view the water which supplies many Wimmera towns and farms.

Iconic tourist spot lives up to all that is claimed for it. Works equally well for those who wish to make casual visits to mountain and waterfall viewpoints with minimum effort as well as those who wish to go on longer treks.

Halls Gap is absolutely beautiful, I’m already planning to come back. I could easily live there. There’s so much to do & see. Love the ice cream shop & Flame Brothers. Highly recommend the e-bikes , so much fun & the Mini Golf was the best I’ve been to, their restaurant has great food & it’s just a beautiful little place. Absolutely fell in love with Halls Gap, so did my teenagers

Halls Gap is beautiful.

Halls Gap is beautiful. We visited the new Gallery at WAMA and its botanical garden area, which we will definitely do again. There are some nice eateries. Flame Brothers was excellent, and the local wine shop stocks a great range of regional wines. The Pomonal Wildflower Show was a highlight, with lunch at Barneys. Surrounded by natural beauty it is a must visit.

The family room was very comfortable for our family 2 adults and 2 kids (10 & 6). The room also had a fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave and everything we needed for our short stay. We saw many kangaroos while we were there and even had an Emu visit us one morning right outside our door! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a short stay in Halls Gap.

This was our second stay. We love being able to have our dog stay with us in the dog-friendly cabin. The location is perfect - we liked being able to walk to the hotel and ride our bikes to Halls Gap on the bike path. The cabin had everything we needed. Heater worked well on cold nights and shower was hot.

The townhouse was spacious & generally comfortable with plenty of room for the whole family. While there was an issue with an appliance, the owners were very responsive and repaired the issue as quickly as they were able. The views onto Halls Gap & the Grampians were spectacular.
