We arrived for only 1 night to Handhorf, to see the famous leaves fall. If we knew how amazing this place is, we would stay there for at least 3 nights. The house was so clean, spacious and comfortable, the host was so lovely and helpful. We had a natural atmosphere inside and around the house which also was very quiet, although only 3 minutes away by foot to the main street. Thank you so much!

Great location in the small town of Hahndorf! With lots of restaurants nearby, and some beautiful vineyards. The room we got was amazing, overlooking a small creek. It definately exceeded our expectations!

Beautiful town, like stepping into a German Village.

Beautiful town, like stepping into a German Village. Even better we were there the month before Christmas and it felt like the European Christmas Markets. Highly recommend a visit if you are in Adelaide area.

Great place to visit and relax.

Great place to visit and relax. Haus Restaurant and the German Arms Hotel were superb - food lover's delight! Loved the Cuckoo Clock Shop. Had a great day trip to Victor Harbour and Goolwah. Only issue was nil local Taxis and we stayed out of the main hub of Hahndorf (no drinking and driving!!!!)))

The same but different cafe and staff are excellent with friendly locals. doesn't get better than Aussie banter. Check out the lovely lady at the Post office with her male counterpart for humour.

Came for my daughters wedding so there was a lot of time...

Came for my daughters wedding so there was a lot of time spent with arrangements but all the guests adored. Still managed to fit in gin tastings and wineries because everything is so close. So many options to dine and just wonder. Still close enough To Adelaide and all the wine regions to base yourself in Hahnsdorf.

Hahndorf was just beautiful.

Hahndorf was just beautiful. What a fantastic little village. Would have loved to stay another day to see outside of the town. Definitely need to spend at least a full day just meandering through this lovely town.

So much to see and do.

So much to see and do. Great places to eat, lovely atmosphere. Excellent shopping, caters for everyone from tourists to locals. Check out The Black Sheep gift shop and Otto's Bakery, just 2 of many favourites.

Outstanding! Do yourself a favour and stay here. We were greeted by a female kangaroo and her joey at the front door. The location is just out of Hahndorf but you would think you are the only people on the planet. There is plenty of hot water, 3 showers and toilets and 2 woodfires that warmed the house beautifully. The master bed was warm and comfortable. Massive modern kitchen fully stocked but to be honest we ate at the restaurants in Hahndorf and were not disappointed.

Met by the owner on arrival and given a tour of the B&B and all the features. We stayed for 4 nights (half work/half holiday trip). Having a fully stocked fridge was such a luxury. Milk, juice, full breakfast, champagne, Tim Tams and more. Bed was super comfy. It was a very cold weekend in Hahndorf but the wood fire, plenty of blankets and a great hot shower kept us warm. I didn't get time to use the day spa but it looked great. Easy to walk to everything.

Great location in Hahndorf, easy walk into town, very quiet. Comfortable beds and couch, big good quality TV. It was nice to have a washing machine. Air conditioning works well and ceiling fans are a lovely addition in hot weather. Nice little back yard too!
