We've got a very spacious corner room on the third floor, with beautiful arrangements in the room. We truly loved the interior of the room! Vintage and luxurious at the same time. We had yummy breakfast provided for all of the days. We had a large window allowing us to see the outside (roads) very clearly, which allowed our room experience to be enjoyable. Adding on, there was a paper that listed the TV Channels and their numbers very neatly. Therefore, we could use the TV with no issues and very comfortably. The price and location of the hotel is just perfect! We had everything surrounding us, extremely convenient! I will surely come back to this hotel again, with my family.

The carpark is huge and quite empty..so parking is a breeze. The carpark also hosts a red rooster, shell petrol station and a dan Murphy's bottle shop warehouse. Rooms were modern, clean and had easy access. The hotel gave us 2 free drinks at the bar. We didn't have time to use the bistro but had a coffee and free snacks at the pokies venue. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

The hotel reminds me of the titanic after it had sunk and...

The hotel reminds me of the titanic after it had sunk and been restored. It is a massive hotel with a big restaurant and bar and various seating areas, even a piano but it was like a a ghost ship!! There was not another soul around, the restaurant and bar facilities were not operational ( apparently due to storm damage) We didn’t see any damage, the restaurant tables were all set up with plates, glasses and cutlery and closed. We walked around the hotel and didn’t see another person- it was almost an eerie feeling. After check in at 2pm even the reception staff disappeared. Spa was out of order, phone was out of order, restaurant closed, no buffet breakfast , our room was very big but tea towel was still damp from previous occupants, kettle still full and toilet brush holder full of water. Mould in shower grout but bathroom clean otherwise. Only one sachet of coffee each and no sanitary bags in the toilet ( mot that these were needed) Plenty of towels provided Glennys kebabs across the road was great and there was a Japanese restaurant next door. The vegie patch was not far away with the most amazing vegetarian Chinese. We didn’t find this until the day we were leaving as the hotel provides no information for guests

Opulent furnishings with a general sense of grandeur. Room was well appointed with generous seating, comfortable bed and modern bathroom. An internal room facing the courtyard would have more than likely been quieter but we were given one facing a busy street.. A very good dining room is located on the property which offered a very reasonably priced breakfast option. Would stay again.

I liked the size of the room and furniture made it a comfortable place to stay for more than one night. It is close to Forrest hills shopping Center if you like that experience. There are other smaller strips of shops a short car ride away if you want to avoid the huge Center ,places to purchase snacks etc. If noise was a problem ,next to busy road , you could pay more to face treed area and back terrace. It’s a light breakfast and currently restaurant has not reopened. An excellent place to stay as I had a hire car.

Loved the old look but well kept furniture .

Loved the old look but well kept furniture . Every was clean , staff was very friendly , helpful and comfortable. We chatted with all the staff and they certainly gave us their time in a warm and friendly manner . We will definitely be back again ❤️

The room was spacious compared to other Hotels. It had a nice look from the outside with nice windows. The Manger anticipated my need of a refund and gave me a refund. Polite staff. I casually mentioned to the house keeping person that it would be good to have the pillows be kept in the south or east based on the Earth's magnetic pull. The next day it was kept like that without even expecting it, what a pleasant surprise. Keep it up team!!

The hotel was quiet and conveniently located. The room was quiet even when facing the road on a very rainy day. The only issue was the toilet was not flushed and still had matter in it. Then my partner noticed there was blood smeared on the bathroom door. We never notified reception because it was only for one night. But I hope their housekeeping department can improve...

Very friendly and comfy. Felt like a stay with family 😊. Bed was super comfy and it had everything I needed for a one night stay. Short walk/drive to either forest Hill or box Hill shops. Very accommodating on short notice as well!
