The Empire was much lovelier than we were expecting, staff were friendly and welcoming without being overbearing, room was clean and had everything we needed including an extra heater. Having a tea and coffee area with a fridge and breakfast room available was also really handy to relax in, breakfast itself was simple self serve but had good continental options. Location is perfect right in the centre of Deloraine. And to top it off our dinner at the Empire was delicious, great options (something a bit different as well as pub fare) and really good value. Would absolutely stay again!

Set in a wonderful location, we were taken back by the quality and size of the place and the outlook. When we came back at night we saw all sorts of wildlife (one of the reasons for coming to Tasmania) and everything we could want was included. The lovely mix of old and new was set just right and we could want for nothing more.

Never experienced such a warm and sincere welcome from hosts. Enjoyed company of Brent and Maria a lot. Welcome basket 🧺 was a pleasant surprise. Very spacious, spotlessly clean house. Any kitchen item you'd possibly need is available.

Was like home from home with everything we needed for our stay.
