Incredible attention to detail— we wanted for nothing. The bed was comfortable and the linens supreme (and smelt great). The location right by the lagoon is spectacular. We hung out with some wallabies and a curious possum and woke to the sounds of native birds. The sky is black (weather permitting) and starry - a joy from the hot tub. Super short drive to the national park with great hikes and views.

Numie has almost everything you need for a few days around Coles bay. We absolutely loved all of the outdoor extras and waking up to the views over the bay every day felt luxurious. The most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and all of the extras provided by Freycinet luxury were greatly enjoyed by us all.

Absolutely beautiful place located within the national park. Our room was spacious and had stunning beach views. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, an unforgettable stay.

Went with a group of 6 and got 3 rooms. Each room is cosy for 2 pax. My room had a balcony facing the bay which gave a spectacular view in the day, and wonderful star gazing in the night. The rooms aren't air-conditioned because it gets really cold at night. Service was amazing too. Outside the rooms, there is a lounge area at the reception if you decide to hang out there. We didn't opt for their set dinner at their japanese restaurant, and decided to take away from the nearby town. Highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed the Wineglass Bay loop hike in Freycinet National...

We enjoyed the Wineglass Bay loop hike in Freycinet National Park. It was close to the weekend (Friday) so probably many more people, but we had a great time looking for wildlife and enjoying the natural surroundings. We opted for the Holiday Vehicle Pass, which was good for four weeks in Tasmania even though we were only staying a week. We spent a couple of days at Frreycinet and later at Cradle Mountain National Park, which was much less than the cost for daily park entry.

The local cafe in Coles Bay was great, perfect coffee, great pastries, service with a smile. The roads are in excellent condition and you can drive all day without encountering issues. I would suggest a visit to Bicheno for lobster rolls (Lobster shack) and oysters (Marine farm). The walk up to the viewing platform for Wineglass Bay was worth the 400+ metres of steps. The sun is super strong, plan ahead.

We visited outside the peak periods so tours were much more pleasant than full boats and queues. Loved the location of our accommodation away from the township. Be aware that there are limited supply choices in the general stores.

We have walked the Wineglass Bay route previously (recommend...

We have walked the Wineglass Bay route previously (recommend) and this time we decided to try the Pennicott cruise. The cruise was fantastic and I highly recommend. All crew members were great and the meal provided in the standard ticket was generous and delicious. The onboard drinks/snacks were also reasonably priced. We visited in June and we were lucky enough to see whales as well as seals on our journey. Freycinet Lodge was lovely for sundowners.

Highly recommend Kayaking we had the most wonderful time and...

Highly recommend Kayaking we had the most wonderful time and the best guide you could ever hope for. So knowledgable and so much fun. We stopped halfway at a deserted beach for coffee and biscuits. Perfect!

We enjoyed all our meals in Coles Bay.

We enjoyed all our meals in Coles Bay. I spent the day in Freycinet National Park. I walked from the Visitor Centre to the Wineglass Bay Carpark via the Walk and Cycle track. Then did the Wineglass Bay lookout via Hazards Beach circuit. Beautiful views, great walk.

Fantastic location. very close to a big restaurant and convenient store and petrol station. 2 minute walk to the Muirs beach. 10 minute walk to the wine glass bay cruise office and fish n chip shop around Coles bay. 10 to 15 minutes to drive to a walking track to Wine Glass Bay Walk. Clean and spacious room was where on top edge of the property. the lounge and kitchen were spacious. Laundry sink was there for a small item to hand wash.

Wish we could give more than 10 for the score! Blissful spot. Ten minutes drive from Coles Bay Village, this is a haven overlooking a huge and remarkable beach. The kitchen is well-equipped. Bathroom and bedroom top notch. Living area immaculate. Private driveway. Sit on the balcony and watch the bay and the incredible bird-life. Go into the village to enjoy the ice creamery and a great coffee at Geographe.

Fantastic location with view over beach and close to Coles Bay and Freycinet NP. Really comfortable with 2 very comfy sofas, fantastic beds and good a/c and heating - we needed both in our short stay. Very well equipped kitchen and nice touches like boardgames and DVDs.
