Numie has almost everything you need for a few days around Coles bay. We absolutely loved all of the outdoor extras and waking up to the views over the bay every day felt luxurious. The most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and all of the extras provided by Freycinet luxury were greatly enjoyed by us all.

It’s clean and looked newly renovated. It’s modern and spacious, equipped with the pots,pans and utensils. It’s awesome. It was freezing when we arrived and we really liked the electric blanket. On top of that, we arrived late, and we are super thankful that though the staffs have knocked off, they have left the keys there for us to facilitate check in. Additionally, I requested for late check out and Emma was kind enough to extend a couple of hours for us. Super grateful to the team there! The place was splendid and close to the National park!

Superb views from the room, including the opportunity to see wildlife (we saw wombats, brush tailed possums, wallabies, birds..) and the sunrise. Great breakfast, and the staff, especially Pearl, were fantastic.

We enjoyed the Wineglass Bay loop hike in Freycinet National...

We enjoyed the Wineglass Bay loop hike in Freycinet National Park. It was close to the weekend (Friday) so probably many more people, but we had a great time looking for wildlife and enjoying the natural surroundings. We opted for the Holiday Vehicle Pass, which was good for four weeks in Tasmania even though we were only staying a week. We spent a couple of days at Frreycinet and later at Cradle Mountain National Park, which was much less than the cost for daily park entry.

The local cafe in Coles Bay was great, perfect coffee, great...

The local cafe in Coles Bay was great, perfect coffee, great pastries, service with a smile. The roads are in excellent condition and you can drive all day without encountering issues. I would suggest a visit to Bicheno for lobster rolls (Lobster shack) and oysters (Marine farm). The walk up to the viewing platform for Wineglass Bay was worth the 400+ metres of steps. The sun is super strong, plan ahead.

We visited outside the peak periods so tours were much more pleasant than full boats and queues. Loved the location of our accommodation away from the township. Be aware that there are limited supply choices in the general stores.

We have walked the Wineglass Bay route previously (recommend) and this time we decided to try the Pennicott cruise. The cruise was fantastic and I highly recommend. All crew members were great and the meal provided in the standard ticket was generous and delicious. The onboard drinks/snacks were also reasonably priced. We visited in June and we were lucky enough to see whales as well as seals on our journey. Freycinet Lodge was lovely for sundowners.

Highly recommend Kayaking we had the most wonderful time and...

Highly recommend Kayaking we had the most wonderful time and the best guide you could ever hope for. So knowledgable and so much fun. We stopped halfway at a deserted beach for coffee and biscuits. Perfect!

We enjoyed all our meals in Coles Bay.

We enjoyed all our meals in Coles Bay. I spent the day in Freycinet National Park. I walked from the Visitor Centre to the Wineglass Bay Carpark via the Walk and Cycle track. Then did the Wineglass Bay lookout via Hazards Beach circuit. Beautiful views, great walk.

Our tent was beautifully decorated with a boho theme, and came complete with a comfortable bed, linen sheets, and a mini fridge that gave it a glamping feel. There was a lovely little kitchen hut that was well equipped with a BBQ, gas stove, utensils, and cutlery - with basic condiments and olive oil also provided. The location was also serene, right on Coles Bay. Luggage trolleys to cart bags from the car park area to the tent were also provided, which was very helpful. Wifi is also available and worked well

A clean tidy n well equipped home with a view of Great Oyster Bay where sandpiper beach is. Home has lots of natural lighting n in a very nice neighborhood of Swanwick. Just a short drive to Coles bay town centre n to the Freycinet Peninsula. Bed n pillows are super comfortable. Appreciate that coffee capsules n some milk Was provided. Nice to also know that rainwater has been collected for drinking at this property.
