Motel was easy to find and once their staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. Was able to park right outside door of room. Location was great as only a minutes' walk to all the shops in town. Overall great place to stay and will be booking in their again for sure.

Stayed at Colac central motel on main street was great close...

Stayed at Colac central motel on main street was great close to shops. Went to La Porchetta for tea was amazing as had chicken Parm agama was cooked so well. Only had time to shop and see the lake as was on short stay overnight but will be going back to see more. Colac was a very beautiful country town beside the lake that is well worth visiting.

People were awesome and friendly.

People were awesome and friendly. Only problem was the thousands of semi-trailers travelling right through town every day...Noisy..and the animal trucks with animals on smelled...for a minute each time..they should provide a by-pass for their convenience and ours Otherwise great Excellent shopping, and browsing, entertainment. Ten pin Bowling.

We visited the Colac Botanic Gardens which overlooked Lake...

We visited the Colac Botanic Gardens which overlooked Lake Colac. It was very popular with walkers, cyclists and tourists and is very picturesque. It is possible to drive through the gates and around the grounds in a circular drive.

Good old fashioned customer service. Nothing is too much trouble, and good suggestions for local businesses and restaurants. Great location in Colac, close to everything you want to access and good value hot breakfast. Highly recommend!

Beautiful old cottage with modern facilities. Double garage at rear which was ideal for our golf cart and trailer. Bedrooms were large and beds very comfortable. Quiet area of Colac but not far to eateries.

As advertised, clean, quiet, no frills. Even with the Colac show, there was on noise (apart from 2 or 3 minutes of fireworks!) We would stay there again.
