Immediately on the first encounter with Mick's friendly staff at the book in office we felt "comfortable" and homely thanks to the lovely girl, named "Holland" in the reception office. A nice clean, roomy room waiting for us, such a short little walk to the bar, with equally friendly bar staff, a great refreshing selection of all the Oz and Irish beers on tap too. The 350g porterhouse steak,topped with the best pepper gravy, cooked on the char grill,the best I've had in years. Wife loved her salt & pepper squid. A great night of entertainment with a few more drinks topped off our stay, at the Mick O'Shea.

It was a lovely space with lots of extras to make it more homely. The extra touch of having fresh bread, bacon, eggs and cereal was nice. I didn’t get to meet the hosts but check in and communication was easy and quick.

The views were beautiful and access to the beach was lovely.

The views were beautiful and access to the beach was lovely. Comfortable lounge and dinning area upstairs to soak in the views - rain or shine. The smaller living room downstairs was great as a play den for kids while adults can chill and cook upstairs. If all the offered/available facilities were in working order and good condition, our stay would have been even more enjoyable. However, overall, we recommend this accommodation for larger groups of friends and family.

A great spot that is a bit more affordable than other beachside places. Loved our stay at Christie’s and will definitely be back! The beach was beautiful to swim in and our breakfast at District B5165 was great!

Close to walks on the beach, near the shops, has a very helpful booklet in the cabin. We ate food from Champion Fish and chip shop, Seaside Spit Indian and Espy Bakery. Every shop you need are close by. Even if the weather is not the best the cabins are still cosy with the reverse cycle air-conditioners.The have activities on the ground to occupy your time. Lovely big washing machines and dryers. Most of all the staff were so very friendly and helpful.

everything about christies beach was perfection we loved going to the beach it was across the road the views we had were spectacular and the beach was absolute pristine 10/10 getting around was very easy very laidback and our hosts are very lovely couple we were very comfortable staying at the beach escape on the esplanade. i would 100% recommend this place for a holiday. We are 100% going back there. Thankyou Brady and Mim .

It was basically just accomodation for one night on route...

It was basically just accomodation for one night on route from KI to airport. We were so impressed that we plan to return once Covid settles down. Cairns is home so good not to have stingers and crocs. Therefore we had no time to explore to be able to answer following questions.

Great eateries, beautiful scenery, lots to do in close proximity: like rock climbing, surfing, snorkeling, wineries, shopping and nature walks. We ate at The Salopian Inn AMAZING!! FLAVA really nice and Ocean Chinese Restaurant EXCELLENT!! We had coffee at OTR and Ripple & Swirl cafe, both good. 👍🏽
