A wonderful retreat, enjoyed the wallabies hopping around us at dusk and the amazing views. The property was cosy and warm - wish we could have stayed longer and would highly recommend.

Peaceful, historic location in beautiful garden and surroundings some way off the road. Internally, tastefully furnished and decorated, very spacious, and superbly equipped. The hosts were friendly and welcoming as well as generous with provisions for breakfast and letting us use the laundry facilities. It was a nice touch to provide flowers freshly picked from the garden. There was lots of information on the local area too - Trowunna wildlife sanctuary, close by, is well worth a visit. One of the best properties we have ever stayed at.

We received the best hospitality from these super hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. We really enjoyed the welcome brownies baked specially for us including the simple breakfast. The rooms and hall were so spacious. what impressed us is the bathroom was super large and comfortable. we enjoyed the back to nature feel of this apartment. The Empire was much lovelier than we were expecting, staff were friendly and welcoming without being overbearing, room was clean and had everything we needed including an extra heater. Having a tea and coffee area with a fridge and breakfast room available was also really handy to relax in, breakfast itself was simple self serve but had good continental options. Location is perfect right in the centre of Deloraine. And to top it off our dinner at the Empire was delicious, great options (something a bit different as well as pub fare) and really good value. Would absolutely stay again!

Kitchen facility was fab and staff very accomadating about late checkin. Loved the bedroom; comfortable bed and great bathroom facilities.
