Lovely contemporary motel room with parking right outside. All the expected facilities in the room. It was beautifully clean and the rooms are located in a quiet spot. There is a restaurant to the front so everything on hand. Walk to the foreshore to the most fabulous view of this tidal bay. Exceptional value for money. Highly recommend

Love the view from this lovely place . We had many animals ( some goats, sheep ) and wallabies and even a possum that was curious about us . The heater worked really well for the winter weather and the beds were comfortable. Only wish there were more pillows . We only stayed one night but next time would definitely stay longer because if we return to Tasmania

Amazing final night in Tasmania. Outstanding views with friendly host and adorable wallabies. The driveway was fine. A little bumpy but not as bad as previously reviews. Perhaps more work had been done. A credit to the owners who have done an incredible amount of work to make these houses possible to visitors. Highly recommend Mount Rumney Escapes as a Tasmanian stay. From four travelers that love a touch of adventure.

Hotel is really close to the airport and they are within...

Hotel is really close to the airport and they are within walking distance of a nice eatery Tasmania Gourmet Seafood which is a huge plus. Staff in hotel was extremely pleasant and acceded to our request for using of a room with full kitchen to cook our dinner.

Stairs to cottage are dangerous and not compliant.

Stairs to cottage are dangerous and not compliant. Some of the pots/cutlery/dishes were dirty. Views were stunning. While I appreciate the request to not walk in the vines, most places use pics of people having a drink surrounded by vines as a selling point. Would have loved the option to follow a procedure to decontaminate and enjoy the outdoors more. Spider webs on roof above bed freaked out the Mrs.

We walked from the airport to the hotel, around 20 - 30 mins and didn't break a sweat due to the nice breezy weather. Easy to self check in. Staff drop me directly at the caravan park (the next day) near the airport for my collection. Can buy some drinks from the petrol station before turning (checking) into the hotel. The shop selling fish and chip is nice but I find the portion a bit small.

The room was spacious and there is a comfortable bed. The room was nice and clean. I arrived at the hotel quite late at night, but the recepthionist was very nice and kind. I booked a room with breakfast, it was very simple cooked one and some fruits like whole apples, oranges and pears.

Close to nature, you will see kangeroos hopping around, and there is a farm inside the hotel that have daily feeding tour.
