We ended up staying another night because the atmosphere is so positive, we had a great 5 day trip - the convenience of being on the main road full of great places to eat and having the best pub in town at our doorstop was great. A special shoutout to Jacob, Jamie and Chris (the amazing and most contagiously friendly staff i have ever had the pleasure of coming across). The facilities were always clean and i can’t wait to come back again

My family and I had the pleasure of staying in deluxe suites 2 & 3, which were both spacious and impeccably clean, offering ample storage. The location was ideal, being close to a playground for the kids and a short walk to the warm and clean pool. We also enjoyed the communal kitchen and BBQ areas, which were great for socializing. Additionally, the property provided easy beach access and the entire accommodation was spotless. The staff, both at the reception and around the grounds, were friendly and helpful

My stay at Apollo bay was unfortunately marred with an accident the night before we came to Apollo Bay, my son-in-law fell in the bathroom, hitting his head quite badly, unfortunately the hospital close to them did not take his condition seriously, so on the drive to Apollo bay, he developed a severe headache and nausea, he went to the emergency but was told they didn’t have a CT scan machine, and told him he has to go to Geelong hospital, and as his injury seemed severe, they recommended he go immediately, this was at 11.30pm, but instead of arranging an ambulance for him, they discharged him and expected him to drive 2hrs with that injury at that time of night. Of course he couldn’t, not knowing they didn’t have any available, we went to the police station to request assistance but there wasn’t anyone in attendance there either, so we called 000, they said they would come in 50 minutes, after 2 hours, when no ambulance had arrived, we called back, they ended up sending a taxi. We were going to drive him, but the petrol station was closed and we didn’t have enough fuel to go all that way. My son-in-law is okay, he has brain trauma that will take months to heal, according to the doctors at Geelong Hospital. All in all, it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. I do plan to go back one day but not sure when that can be now.

Apollo Bay is a place we have been holidaying for over 45 years. It is a beautiful part of the world and shouldn't be missed, however, I would advise anyone who books to come here, to make sure there is a cancellation policy when they book, and check with the local council as to whether there is going to be road constructions during the place they are staying at the time they have booked.

Just a short stay over night while travelling the great Ocean road on our way to Adelaide . Restaurants close by service station close by . Very nice tidy town .would be a nice place to stay longer l would recommend.

Beautiful quiet beach area, great restaurants all in walking distance which is great. Lots of interesting walks around Apollo Bay. The staff at the Information Centre are helpful and provide lots of local knowledge and insight. Wonderful place to visit along the Great Ocean Road. Beaches are stunning.

Stayed for long weekend as a family of 4, kids age 8 &10. Great cheap and cheerful typical YHA experience. Bunk room comfy, shared bathrooms clean, good kitchen and lounge facilities. It's not a luxury hotel but a great alternative to staying in more expensive self catering accommodation when you're mostly going to be out and about. Kids felt welcome.

We had a lovely weekend spent at Apollo Ocean Blue~Oceanview. The house has all the things we needed. The location was very conveniently situated near the beach and town centre. Plenty of board games to entertain the family and it’s pet friendly. The best part is the view. We’ll definitely would love to stay longer next time.

We chose this motel for a one-night stay after driving from Torquay, and it was a pleasant experience. The location is fantastic! Just a short walk to the beach and eateries. Check-in were easy, with convenient parking right outside the room. Highly recommend for a comfortable and well located stay in Apollo Bay!
