Loved our room-plenty of space, clean, modern and with exceptional view. Free sauna un pool was amazing adding to all of that. Incredibly rich breakfast with also little vegan options. In hotel there is also bar that you can visit at the evening and have a drink on terrace with amazing view on the mountains. There is fitness room and little gym in building that is free for use. Friendly staff. Underground parking. You will find places to eat near by. One that is owned by hotel itself (just next to it) and another one is 10min walk next to the pond. WE WERE SO PLEASED THAT WE BOOKED ANOTHER 2 nights THE WEEK AFTER.

We drove past on arrival and missed the apartment, but the host was very quick to answer messages, so we were soon in the right location. We had brought food with us for this one and the apartment had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Our host was so friendly and showed us round and then left us alone, I think she lives in the apartment next door. We walked about fifteen minutes to a restaurant that just did snacks, clearly the rules about smoking inside didn't seem to apply at the location, but the landlords (as it was more a pub really) were lovely and the location was beautiful, as was the walk to get there and the sun setting over the mountains on the way back. The rooms were comfortable with a nice shower and facilities for washing clothes, a must when travelling for a month. The bed was nice and comfy and the are was so lovely and quiet.

Werfen is a city where you can relax but, at the same time, it is a starting point for many activities / destinations From the accommodation at Werfener Hof (here we also ate good traditional food) we visited the Hohenwerfen castle, the Bischschofen waterfall, the 7 mills in Pfarrwerfen. We spent a day in Salzburg (60 km) and in the Celtic village of Hallein (the cetic museum and the salt mine) (6 km from Salzburg). Another day we went on the Grossglokner alpine road (101 km to the glacier), which is worth seeing at least once in your life.

Incredible catle right in front of Bergclick hotel with...

Incredible catle right in front of Bergclick hotel with hawks and eagles demonstrartions at 11 and 15 o'clock and Wisriesenwelt, an enormous cave with ice all around inside that makes you feel like walking innanother world during a guided tour.

This town is a must visit for someone who is looking for...

This town is a must visit for someone who is looking for something different. Eisriesenwelt is largest Ice Cave in the world and it is totally worth it, nice little adventure. There is also Hohenwerfen fortress next to the town, it was interesting to me as it was filming location of Where Eagles Dare, a great WWII themed film with Burton and Eastwood. But sadly it was not emphasised enough in castle itself. In any case great place to visit. I bet it is beautiful in winter too for the guys who like snow and skiing.

The house is located in the city centre :) The view from the window is stunning. Great spot for nearby skiing with only 20mins to skiamade resorts. The house is full and well equipped. There is so much space that 9 people felt comfortable. The owner is super friendly. I strongly recommend this place. And remember. It is next to the old church so be prepared for bells ringing at 6.00 am. :)

Very pretty accommodation and central to the town. The property overlooks very picturesque landscape, and although the hotel is set on the main road, you don't hear any traffic noise. It has its own bar and restaurant, a nice place to wind down after travelling all day.

Liked everything about it. The host is welcoming (has no English, but we managed). The farmhouse is old and characterful. The location has magnificent views and walks from the door. Werfen is a short stroll away (admittedly uphill on the way back).
