This was a beautiful place to stay, we picked it last minute as an overnight stop, the look of the hotel was amazing, there was parking out the front, but the hotel parking was to the back of the property. From the car to the hotel there was a garden, this had been landscaped beautifully, I took many photos to give me some ideas for my garden. The reception was just off the garden and you could find someone to help you in the bar at the front, very friendly staff, really helpful, quick to check in and get to the room, we unpacked and went downstairs to the bar, for a coffee, we sat there for a couple of hours till we were ready to eat, the food was amazing we were stuffed by the end. The room was comfortable when we got back to it but a few hours later we both woke up really hot, the only way to cool the room was to open the door to the balcony, this meant we could hear the road noise, though not much, then the church bells at 6am this was pleasant, the shower was really good, had a good water pressure, the breakfast was a buffet with coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice brought to the table, we were also given the option of cooked eggs. Check out was good with everyone being so nice, I would definitely stay there again if travelling this way to Italy.

The staff were amazing, so kind and no one made me feel dumb for only speaking English. The room was modern and very comfortable, check in and out simple, and the food at the restaurant was divine. Easy bus route to the city of Salzburg and free parking at hotel for my car. Perfect

I had a fantastic stay at Essigmanngut. The cleanliness and comfort of the place were exceptional, and the staff's hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a delicious and varied selection of food that left me thoroughly impressed.

This is the ideal place to spend a few relaxing days. We stayed for two nights and felt very comfortable throughout. I would recommend it more for couples than for families with children. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom, and I really enjoyed the balcony – it added a lovely touch to our stay. Breakfast was exceptional, with many delicious and varied options. We ate at two nearby restaurants (you can find them on Google), and I wholeheartedly recommend both – they had playgrounds for kids and the food was absolutely delicious. Just keep in mind that the kitchen closes quite early, around 8 PM. Overall, I truly recommend this place. The staff may come across as a bit distant, but they are very respectful and professional.

It was the second time we stayed in this family hotel. First time we visited it 7 years ago and I had on my mind to come back again. The open hearted family of Regina and Frans do their best to welcome their guests. Make sure to take the delicious homemade breakfasts at the hotel - you’ll enjoy it for sure. The location of the hotel is ideal for day trips to Salzburg, Hallstatt and other high lights of the Austrian Alps.

Breakfast is more than perfect! You can choose from the table and you can get hot breakfast eg. fried eggs, scrambed eggs for order also fresh orange juice if you like. You can eat dinner a la carte' for dinner. Very nice hosts, you can reach easily lots of places, like valley tour, waterfall, lifts, salt cave, Könnersee. Close to Salzburg, so I highly recommended everyone to choose this hotel!

Stunning renovated Gasthaus - like a a designer hotel. They married the old and new beautifully! The rooms are modern and I believe all of them have a balcony. Downstairs is a restaurant with a gorgeous terrace in the summer. Plenty of parking. It is about 20 - 30 minutes to Salzburg centre. It is family run and all the staff are super friendly and extremely helpful.

A nice boutique hotel with good breakfast and good restaurant for dinner as well. room with a mountain view, was amazing, but as I did understand it was upgrade, well good one :-) I would for sure come back again. it is a small hotel compare my experience to Hotel Friesacher. but it would be hard, what I choose if there is a choice...

liked the ambiance of the hotel and the breakfast room. Very tasteful and pleasing .Enjoyed the view from the balcony ,especially listening to the local music band the church bell ringing and observing the troop in uniform shooting with their rifles .
