Everything was perfect. An idyllic challet in the middle od the woods, 10 minutes’ drive from Tamsweg center. The room was wonderful for a short stay, very clean and stylish. Exactly as presented in the photos of the property. It was warm and cosy with an absolutely gorgeous view of the mountain, trees and snow. You can borrow a sleigh for free and enjoy with your children for there is a lot of snow in winter. The breakfast was delicious. The personnel is very professional and a pleasure to interact with. There is no GSM signal or WiFi so it’s good to have some books and board-games with you. Great for screen-free time. I highly recommend it and I certainly wish to return. Thank you for a wonderful time both parents and children enjoyed it so much!

It is a compact city, once you are in the center you can access all the popular stores/supermarkets by walk. Parking was also not a problem, 1.5 hours you can stop without paying. It is a classical old small city. They have a lot of locally produced tasty products. There is a nice church on the hill, worth to visit.

A lovely little town with plenty of restaurants and shops...

A lovely little town with plenty of restaurants and shops for everyday needs. A charming market square. The Samson procession is a must-see for culture enthusiasts. With so many one-way streets, it takes a little while to get your bearings. Just take an hour-long bike ride around in the evening to get your bearings.

What I like about Tamsweg, besides the mountains, is the many old and well-preserved houses. Everything I needed during my holiday here was within walking distance. There are numerous beautiful destinations for day trips in the surrounding area, and you can reach green spaces in just a few hundred meters.

Due to the short time of our stay, we didn't get to know Tamsweg more. But it certainly has a great location for skiing for those who want to be in a different resort every day. And the driving distance from South Moravia is also great.

Tamsweg is a wonderful base for a wide variety of activities...

Tamsweg is a wonderful base for a wide variety of activities. From the village itself, you can find numerous hiking and cycling routes (the latter is also popular). A half-hour drive will take you much higher into the mountains for a different view.

We would have liked a slightly shorter access to the ski areas, but it was not a problem. We were delighted with the surrounding nature, suitable for wonderful walks in the clean mountain air. And we were enchanted by the town of Mautendorf - ancient, with a beautiful castle

Breakfast was great, it was not some grand european breakfast. But it had all you need to have variety and start your day with the right food and full stomach. The hotel staff was great, extremely attentive and asked us every day if everything is alright or if they can do anything for us. The lady at the breakfasts was also very nice. The hotel is a great place if you want to stay in local village with amazing view on the alps and nice wellness.

It's a deal for us to discover a very beautiful region in Austria on our way home to Italy. The apartment was enough big for our family and parking isn't far from the building. We immediately went to the local swimming pool which is very close. Morning jogging along the Mur river is a unique experience.

Everything was really perfect. We booked as we planned to stay for the f1 weekend but were surprised with the cozy tamsweg and the apartment was in the heart of it. Really spacious and have everything you need to stay comfortably. Also really close with playgrounds, supermarket and in building parking.

Very nice and comfortable hotel. We stayed for 3 nights. Breakfast very easy but for us ideal and enough. For us the beds were very soft, but it is out personal thing. Few minutes by car to Obertauern for skiing. Highly recommended. Thank for your service☺️

A lovely clean hotel in a great location on the town square. The staff were all very friendly and the private car park was useful.
