We were upgraded from a double room to an apartment for free, so there is not much we could complain about :) A dog mat and bowl with water were ready in the room for our dog - a very nice gesture! The room itself was big enough with all the necessary equipment. The breakfast was delicious and was served outside on the balcony.

Lovely room with spacious powerful shower. Umbrellas and beach bag in the room for your use and beach towels supplied when requested. Private hut down by the lakeside with changing rooms and lockers for your use to leave your stuff. Excellent breakfast with freshly cooked eggs and bacon if you wish. Restaurant serves delicious food and all of the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming

The nature is beautiful around Seewalchen, many lakes, mountains, interesting paths. We had rainy days, but you can still visit nearby Salcburg or Hallein salt mine which I recommend very much (so much fun and so well put together).

There are many leisure activities available: hiking (e.g., the Westwanderweg trail from Seewalchen to Attersee and back by boat), boat trips, boat rentals, the Klimt Centre in Schörfling, cycling, a lido with a pool, slide and diving tower, playgrounds, and a high ropes course.

Seewalchen is a beautiful, charming place.

Seewalchen is a beautiful, charming place. On a nice day, you can relax in an ice cream parlor, play mini-golf, or simply take a stroll. A boat trip is definitely a must. Even if you're only there for a weekend, you'll feel like you're on vacation. Seewalchen is a place to slow down.

Lake Attersee is a stunningly clear lake with a Caribbean-like color. Boat trips are highly recommended. The scenery is also beautiful. However, the area around Lake Attersee lacks more small promenades for strolling (eating and enjoying the view) with a view of the lake (there are some in Attersee and Seewalchen, but they are so small that you can't find a spot on sunny, warm days).

We stayed one night at the hotel.

We stayed one night at the hotel. The room was very nice and spacious, with a lovely covered balcony offering a great view of the lake. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed that day. There is a nice terrace, though. Very straightforward.

Seewalchen is very well located.

Seewalchen is very well located. It's about 20 minutes to Gmunden, from where you can walk to Orth. Many surrounding towns and villages are easily accessible. Perfect for sightseeing. There's a beautiful lakeside promenade – a feast for the eyes.
