A serendipitous find and a gem of a 600 year old historic hotel in the heart of Old Town Salzburg. The Mozart Suite ( apparently Mozart stayed there!) ,we stayed in was definitely OTT complete with even a billiards table in the centre of the room, a four poster bed and a "throne", but oh so fun. The hotel is run by owner Brigitte Steixner and she oversees the daily operations of the hotel. The hospitality she exhibited was above and beyond the call of duty-incredible personalized service. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the service staff were friendly and cheery. The evenings seemed to have a different vibrant energy with the restaurant serving as a pub- - with a younger local crowd. Loved everything about the hotel.

I could not eat or drink in Hotel Stubai because the owner randomly decided to close it 24 hours before my arrival. Had I known,I would have cancelled but cynically,thery notified me after the cancellation period had elapsed.

This is an amazing hotel with great staff that offered excellent service! The restaurant was perfect and the food was delicious! While we only stayed one night on our way to Italy, the hotel would be extremely well-suited for an extended stay, either during summer or winter! We’ll definitely be back to explore Innsbruck and go skiing this winter, and when we do we will be staying at this hotel! Five star destination for sure!

The best thing about this property is the staff behavior and the location! It is really nice place to stay overnight and have a fresh morning start. The staff are very friendly, dinner and breakfast served in the restaurant are with quite good quality and taste. It really depends what you expect, do you want a quiet local hotel or a 5 star fancy one? This property surely doesn't feet in the second category! But walking around, quiet, very typical Austrian village hotel, that you get for sure. Enjoy your stay! :)

The hotel is quite unique with a wellness centre in the new extension. The family room has a separate area for the double bed though it is only separated by a curtain. The staff were friendly and I think if we'd been checked in by a different staff member then it might have been more informative. Free parking next to the hotel. The location is right off the main road.

Its a spotless traditional guest house on the outskirts of Innsbruck (10 mins) with breathtaking views and cable cars when travelled to opposite direction also (Stubai). Friendly staff and nice breakfast at extra charge.
