Lovely family-run guest house. Comfortable room with large balcony and stunning views. Fresh air and peace and quiet. Selection at breakfast was quite amazing. We plan to come back next year for longer. Herr Lercher was friendly, welcoming and hard-working.

Clean, nice and big apartment. All the rooms are big, the kitchen has all you need. The beds are confortable and the shower is big and great. There is also a big terrace with nice views which we didn't really use because it was freezing outside. The location was perfect for us, just 10-15 mins to Kreischberg ski by car. You also have supermarkets and restaurants around.

Haus Mauken is a really spacious, fully equipped apartment complete with a large balcony and stunning mountain views. Even better, the hosts are wonderful and are really dog friendly, which can be hard to come by. The flat was dog-ready complete with water and food bowls, treats and a dog bed. Access to the sauna (complete with lounge chairs, shower, robes, etc.) was nice to relax in the evening and get rid of aches and pains from skiing! For our February skiing trip, Haus Mauken was less than a 20-minute drive to Kreischberg. For our family (2 adults, 1 child+dog!!), this was an ideal place to get away from the "hustle" of the ski lifts and Murau and experience a true winter wonderland in absolute solitude. Still having a lot of snow at the house (about 1350m in elevation) was a real plus as a warm(er) spell was rapidly melting the remaining snow on the valley floor.

The location of the apartment is perfect! 5-minute walk to the center of Murau with pharmacy, swimming pool and supermarkets such as Spar and Billa, and only 10-minute drive to Kreischberg skiing resort! The apartment is very comfortable, warm, modern, nice and clean, with large outside terrace. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment, the bathroom even has a private sauna! The host is also very responsive and kind. We will most definitely come again next winter! Thanks Barbara!
