We recently had the pleasure of staying at Gaesthaus Schmitt and it was a great experience. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Their made us feel so welcome and at home. The breakfast provided by the hosts is delicious. The room is nice and cosy and clean! One of the highlights of our stay is the breathtaking room view, overlooking the mountains. Waking up to the picturesque Austrian countryside nature was an absolute treat. It was an overall great atmosfere. Place is easy to reach by a car and within a small driving distance to local attractions like Garmisch or Zugspitze. Highly recommended and look forward to coming back in future!

Everything!!! Very vegan friendly, the restaurant offers lots of vegan options, staff is way friendly, nice and kind (they asked all the time if everything's ok), the wellness center had free of charge tea, water and nuts. The swimming pool was relaxing, the water temperature perfect, the beds from the wellness area very comfy. The terrace was also very cool with a great view and we could helped ourselves with drinks. The bedroom was well equipped. I only missed different types of pillows (for my hubby was too soft). I also would like to recommend for the future an installation of an infrared cabin. The breakfast was AMAZING!!! Thanks again for everything!!!

This is a great Hotel in an amazing location. The Hotel room was fantastic with an amazing view of the lake. The Hotel staff were exceptional and made our stay memorable. Food and drink also excellent and good value for money.

This is our second time at Post Hotel. We had a lot of fun this time too. We loved everything, the lovely and wonderful location, the hotel staff who were helpful, efficient and cordial throughout the hotel, the spacious suite, well equipped and very clean and the level of food in the hotel restaurant where the service is excellent, efficient and smiling. Just a great team. It should also be noted the pampering hotel spa, the pools and in general, was fantastic. We have no doubt that we will return to the lovely Post Hotel in Larmos.

Unique building, very fun and colourful. The extra games area (giant Jenga, table tennis, darts, climbing wall and loads of choice of board games) for kids was excellent and made for a lovely relaxed and enjoyable evening for the whole family.

Lähn is a small village along the B179.

Lähn is a small village along the B179. It consists of just a church and a handful of houses, making it exceptionally peaceful. One drawback is that there are no shops, not even a bakery, in the village, but other villages are easily accessible (a few kilometers). There is, however, one restaurant.

A small, quiet village from which you can reach everything.

A small, quiet village from which you can reach everything. Buses and trains run all day. For tobogganing and skiing, you have to go to the nearest village or town, but that's only 5 minutes away.
