I arrived after 10 p.m., and the proprietor waited up for me to give me my room keys. There was an enormous, well designed parking area at the back of the hotel, so no sweat over finding a safe place to park a hired car. The surrounding area of the hotel was simply beautiful and uncluttered with buildings. A magical spot!

Everything. Beautifully furnished, quality bedding, very comfortable mattress, room felt spacious. Shower had great pressure. Location was perfect, across from the Mirabell Palace and a 5-10 min walk across the beautifully lit up brudge to the old town for shopping, Christkindlmarkts and the fort. Breakfast was superb and we dined at the restaurant on site which was also brilliant.

The hotel is in a beautiful historic building. One of the staff told me that it was more than 300 years old. The room was a good size and everything was supper clean. The room was decorated beautifully and the balcony overlooks into the gorgeous garden. The breakfast was served in the garden, which was really magical, and it had a very good selection of vegetarian food.

Honestly, everything about this place was amazing. It was above and beyond in terms of staff, breakfast, the room, and the garden, the bar, really this hotel as a whole is definitely worth it as it's perfect for couples and families. Did I mention that the spa on the rooftop is super amazing and the view is gorgeous and must be used? So in a nutshell it was more than perfect and I can't express how wonderful our stay was and still rave about it so definitely highly recommend those looking for a perfect stay in Salzburg.

Gentle Hide exceeded all my expectations! The breakfast was the best spread I’ve ever encountered, with fresh and delicious options that set the perfect tone for the day. The staff were truly exceptional. Andrea and Miriam at the front desk were the friendliest and always made sure we had everything we needed. Anastasia, who managed the buffet, was so sweet and ensured we were well taken care of every morning. Vivian, the owner, was incredible!
