The hotel is in a beautiful historic building. One of the staff told me that it was more than 300 years old. The room was a good size and everything was supper clean. The room was decorated beautifully and the balcony overlooks into the gorgeous garden. The breakfast was served in the garden, which was really magical, and it had a very good selection of vegetarian food.

Very cute and well decorated. Room was very nice for a family, beds were good and it had a nice kitchenett area as well. Staff was extremely helpful, breakfast was good and the whole atmosphere was friendly. We could borrow umbrellas for a rainy day and electric bikes to pick up dinner in the evening.

Location is great. Quite close to train station. Owners of the Hotel are just extremely friendly and amazing people. 1) I was late once and Family Berg were so kind and gave me a ride to the place I needed. 2) I forgot something in the room and they returned me it by bringing to the location. Henndorf is a nice village alongside the lake wallersee. It is not the best touristic village there but it is elegant, silent and very high level. From there you can visit the other more touristic village by car such us Sankt Gilgen, Halstatt, bad Ischl and the whole Salkammergut. You can easily reach Salzburg, and the Eagle's Nest..

The hotel is a money trap.

The hotel is a money trap. The hotel shares unclear and incomplete information in the reservation process. The suggestion is that you can arrive after 18.00 when you book the hotel. However, when you contact after booking, the hotel they say that it not possible. A request for a refund is also refused. The hotel also offers rooms for 2 persons but when you fill in one name of one guest, the hotel prepares a room for 1 person. You can pay addional at arrival, even when the hotel knows. The hotel is not interested in customers, the hotel is interested in cheap money. My advice: do not go to this hotel unless you look for a disappointment.

The worst thing about this hotel's location is that it is far from the nearest bus stop by approximately 20 minutes which makes it difficult to walk around at night if you are coming back to the hotel since there are no lights in the streets surrounding the hotel making it dangerous at night if you don't have a car.

There were four of us, and our destination was Gut Aiderbichl, so we didn't see much of Henndorf. We ate at the Stelzhammer Stuben; the food was excellent and more than plentiful!

Henndorf offers all the necessary shopping facilities, but its real advantage lies in its location near Salzburg and amidst the lakes and mountains of the Salzburg region. A great base for a holiday in the area.

So, where do I begin?

So, where do I begin? Hmm, there are plenty of shops, and they're all within walking distance. The locals are very friendly; people greet each other, even with a smile, when they meet. Public transport also runs to Salzburg about every 30 minutes, and as already mentioned, you meet nice people at the stops.

The location is best. Wallersee is so beautiful and it is only 2 minutes walking from the hotel. The room was clean. In one of the rooms was a bath with massages (although a bath in a room is strange, The bath itself was nice).
