A truly 5 stars hotel, with all the services that you need for a relaxing time. Comfortable, spacious rooms, well equiped. Great location next to all points of interest. Great friendly services and good advices about the city from people at the reception. I travell a lot and usually do not give a 10 out of 10, but this hotel deserves it.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room looked like on the photo and it was clean. The bathroom was equipped with everything what need during the stay. The breakfast was delicious and satiesfied any expectations. After a tiring day was very pleasurable relaxing in the wellness centre.

Personable and friendly staff who were always helpful. Quiet location (in a village) and only 15 minutes on the bus to Salzburg centre. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Lovely breakfast, super comfortable bed, spacious spa area with 4 different spa types and areas to relax. Absolutely spotlessly clean, the owners (family owned) obviously take a great deal of pride in making sure everything is perfect for their guests. Great place to stay, would highly recommend.

Grödig is a quiet little town South of Salzburg right off of...

Grödig is a quiet little town South of Salzburg right off of the Autobahn which is a great base for touring the city. It gives lets you see the countryside a bit more and gets you closer to the local people. Buses run constantly so you don't really need a car here, hotels now give a pass for the duration of your stay so it's super convenient. In town near the main intersection is also the gondola service that takes you up to the top of the famous Untersberg, which overlooks Salzburg with stunning views.

The place was large, spotless and great care has been taken...

The place was large, spotless and great care has been taken to ensure guests’ comfort and convenience with a more than adequately equipped kitchen. I t is in a quiet and peaceful location with green fields and wonderful views of the mountains. Parking is provided at the front. The hosts are helpful and responsive. Whilst there is a bus service at the end of the street I think a car is probably essential for a short stay as supermarket and Salzburg are a drive away. A few basic toiletries in the bathroom would be appreciated as well.

The apartment was in a good location, away from Salzburg center but an easy drive. Grodig is cute & walkable. Good grocery store around the corner & fabulous fish market down the street. We did not eat out so can’t say anything about the food scene. The apartment was perfect for two. The view of the mountains is good but first floor is really looking onto the parking area. A second floor apartment would give the better mountain views. There are bike trails theoughout the area & bike racks at the apartment.

Nothing much to do in Grödig, but it's perfectly situated...

Nothing much to do in Grödig, but it's perfectly situated for car travels to nearby nature attractions (and there are many within 30 min drive) and for visiting Salzburg by public transport. The village has everything one needs for comfy stay (supermarket, couple of restaurants...)

Bubble Cones is a small family fast food near the junction of Hauptstrasse and Marktstrasse. It is my recommendation for all, who would like to enjoy an interesting finger food in a family room for a good price with a nice service. Just weekends are closed.

We made a family trip around Salzburg, but we do not like to...

We made a family trip around Salzburg, but we do not like to stay in cities, so we stayed in this little village, which is just outside Salzburg. We have visited the Salt Mine in Hallein, which was wxcellent and the Untersberg, using the lift, with a very nice outlook to the area around.

Travelling advice without a car (with six year old): from the airport it was about €40 euro for a taxi on a meter (2024) (~20 mins) (did explore Uber etc but just getting one at 8pm outside airport was best option). Bus from this hotel is brilliant as it’s at the end of the 21 bus route, to Salzburg it’s every 30 mins, sometimes every 20. We got bus to and from hotel for three days and great experience, pretty easy to find where to get it from in Salzburg on google maps - quite a few stops in the city for it. Hotel good no problems.

Situated right at the base of Untersberg mountain , this pension stay is exceptional. Clean rooms and quick service. We had an amazing stay of 4 nights here. Views from here are breathtakingly beautiful! Bus no. 5 and no. 25 connect you directly to Salzburg main train station and city centre. The bus stop is 5 mins walk from the hotel. Overall an amazing place.

The location 250% the room was small but very comfortable with doors onto a balcony that had views to the district. The bathroom was very modern and new. Anna was the perfect host, showed us how everything works and was always available for inquiries, the apartment is amazing with fantastic views of the mountains and it’s easy to pop into Salzburg also.
