I stayed for two nights during the music festival and absolutely loved this hotel. It is a small property, but the interior design is stylish, and the homely atmosphere made it very relaxing. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and genuinely hospitable. The breakfast buffet was excellent and very varied. I believe even with a longer stay, one would never get tired of it. It was my first time visiting Bregenz, and I found the town absolutely charming. I would love to come back and stay here again for the festival next year.

The best staff ever! It genuinely felt like they were sad to see us check out and are expecting us back next year. The beds are incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and there’s a lovely terrace for sunny days. Although the hotel isn’t huge, the spa is surprisingly good. Special mention to Andrey at the bar and Sofia at the front desk - both deserve to be commended.

We liked the beauty of Bregenz which is situated alongside Lake Constance. There are nice restaurants & cafes, shops, walks, boats etc and we enjoyed the cable car ride to see the small farm, great for children and the views of the mountains are spectacular. The area is excellent for cyclists & runners, and for people with mobility issues. There are ferries which go to the small German island of Lindau, which is worth a visit and it takes 20-30 minutes. Quite a few of the cafes shops and restaurants are closed on a Sunday.

Bregenz is a lovely little town, and they have always going on in the harbour area. Contrary to the hotel, the town and especially the people there are LOVELY. Just go there, you will not be let down

We were in Bregenz on the 23rd and 24th of August 2025.

We were in Bregenz on the 23rd and 24th of August 2025. It was a coincidence that the Hafen Fest was on those days, and I cannot judge what is Bregenz usually like. For us there were too many people on the lake shore... but I know some people love this. The best places for me, must-sees: 1. Pfänderbahn (in good weather) 2. Lake shore (always, but especially at sunset) 3. Old downton (and Uppertown) We went everywhere on foot, and it suited us perfectly well.

It is a beautiful town with many things to see and places to eat. Our Highlight was the Opera on the lake which was amazing. I am 79 years old and my grand daughter is 14 years. The opera is ageless. we both enjoyed it and will be talking about it for years to come.

Bregenz was a great base to explore the old town and visit...

Bregenz was a great base to explore the old town and visit St Martin’s Tower telling the history of Bregenz and its chapel with medieval frescoes. There is a round walking tour suggested on a sign post in the old town that takes you past churches and buildings. I used Bregenz to go and visit Liechtenstein with the integrated train and bus service bus Feldkirch. There are are round Lake Constance boat trips as far as a view of Lindau frim the Harbour and two great museums in the Kunsthaus and Voralberg.

Small green town on the lake shore.

Small green town on the lake shore. Very green, lakeside promenade is romantic, at the end of the day, you can see the sun on the water's line, charming. Lakefront restaurants vary; some are a bit kitchy. The summer opera's building is interesting. There is a beach on the lake, mountains around, possibility to rent a boat. Good place for escape to nature lovers, probably a bit limited choice of activities for all others.

Good bedside station with power outlet to charge phone while lying in bed. and a good bedside lamp. There were also several power outlets by the TV table, so more could be charged at the same time (I hadn't used that on this trip, though). Nice pillow. No proplem with road noice. Good, wide and safe stairs, so I didn't have to use the elevator. Very friendly and helpsom staff in the reception. Good check-in and helpfull with using local train (very, very close to hotel) and also with the localbusses.

I was staying at the JUFA during the recent Bodensee Pokal football tournament. The hotel is in very close proximity to the main stadium and therefore a great option for that event. The rooms are a good size and offer all the comforts one would expect. Breakfast was very generous with a good spread. Staff friendly and helpful. Main attractions (Seetribüne, Lake Front etc) are only a short walk away.

The property had everything you need for self catering, including a washing machine & is close to amenities. We were in Bregenz for the 3 Lander Marathon, which hosted a super event. We loved the peace & quiet of the area. We loved Bregenz. The host was on hand for any queries and provided an excellent service.
