We were there for a winter sky holiday.

We were there for a winter sky holiday. Location is very good - not too far from our country. Slopes are exactly what we need - red-blu, with fast lifts and not crowded of people even on a pick of Christmas period . All the area is a great value for money and we will definitely come back. Apreski bar at the slope next to the gondola is super party place after ski and we spended there our evenings with much emotions. We visited also Therme and it was a great experience- at this time there was a laser show and disco party - great experience for any ages. At the center we found some good restaurants and pizza places for dinner. Our stay was too short for more but we will come back to continue..

Altenmarkt is a cute little town nestled in the Alps.

Altenmarkt is a cute little town nestled in the Alps. I’m sure the high season is winter, as it’s clerks a ski town. It’s still a beautiful spot in the summer, with cute restaurants and shops. Overall, a lovely pit stop on our way to Sloveni.

Altenmark is a small willage, but you can find a lots of shops and restaurants there, but we were so busy that we didnt go. We spend most of the time skiing, Flachau is just 15 min drive. Perfect for kids is aqua therme, swimming pool with big waves, hot water, tobogans etc and for others really great spa, with 5-6 different saunas.

Hotel staff was great, always with smile and helpful. The room was big, wellness area was very nice. Parking was easy around the hotel and location was perfect for skiing in nearby ski centres like Zauchensee, Obertauern or Schladming. Walking distance to Therme Amadé, which the kids loved and we visited it twice during four days stay (less people is there during late afternoon or evening and when the weather outside is nice). Dinner was always excellent.

Excellent location on main street in Altenmarkt, very good breakfast, helpfull staff always on disposition, comfort room, owner of hotel Mr. Bernard Schartner provided very warm hospitality for each guest. Definitely in this hotel you can feel as part of family, not just guest. Very good dinner prepared by owner who is also ch.cook. Highly recommended hotel.

Cozy and nice furnished apartment at quite location with very good connection to ski resorts in the area. Breakfast was amazing and the whole atmosphere was so pleasant that we felt like at home. Exceptional apartments which are excellent value for money. Location is close enough to key amenities (5 minute walk), yet only 10 minutes drive to the slopes of Flachau. Apartments were unbelievably clean, rivaling high end hotels that I've stayed at.
