My friend and I walked the Transcaucasian Trail, and at Lu-Na we found more than we expected. The house is very comfortable and has an amazing view, but what truly made the difference was the incredibly warm welcome we received from Ani, Hayk, and Artak. We felt like guests in the truest sense, and we had the chance to talk with our hosts and sharing even breakfast, learning a lot about Armenia and its culture. I sincerely recommend a stop at this guesthouse, whether you're a hiker or simply someone who loves nature. Thank you so much for the great experience, the delicious food... and for the lift to Vayk!

Very friendly and attentive host. The room was new and modern and had a great view to the mountains. We were also served an absolutely delicious apricot jam at breakfast!

This place is a paradise that you don't hope to find in Armenia! The location is stunning - it is quiet, you are surrounded by nature, and it is beautiful scenery throughout the day. The facilities are spotless clean and everything is taken care with love, every small detail, everywhere you look. Every decoration is interesting, and the interior is very unique. We didn't expect it to be this great, but hands down, this is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed anywhere on our travels. The kitchen has everything you need. The bathrooms are very clean and new. Towels and sheets smell amazing. There are plenty of areas where to hang around inside, and they are all beautiful. We especially loved the swing above the place - what a perfect spot. The owner - another level of hospitality. He was always very attentive and making sure you were fine. We were gifted by the most delicious strawberries and pastries from his wife, and we were allowed to eat the berries that grew there. Not to mention, we shared coffee and nuts together and watched the most beautiful thunderstorm we have ever seen. We decided to stay extra (3rd) night, and needed to load our groceries, so he took us to the shop and back in the cleanest car we have ever seen 😍 The kittens in the yard are so lovely, and the husky dog Taiga is very sweet also. For the third night, we moved to the smaller house that is designed by the owner, and it is so authentic and cosy, you feel like you are staying in the countryside with 5 star hotel facilities. I could go on and on about this place, you have to come and experience it by yourself. This is not to be missed if you are in the area. Gnishik is literally right at the end of the road, you can go no further, but the Eco Lodge certainly makes the journey worthwhile. The gent who let us in and gave us the keys was very pleasant and helpful and communication before arrival was excellent. It was made clear that the location was remote and that we would have to bring our food and drink with us. This was fine and the shared kitchen was very well equipped. We had a lovely en suite room upstairs with wonderful views from our balcony, especially of the beautiful rose garden in the back garden. We were also lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. There was a problem with the WiFi in the early evening, but it was quickly resolved and worked very well for us after that; not good enough to stream, but perfectly well for browsing, emails, etc. We parked in the drive in front of the Lodge, but there are zero security concerns. If you get the chance to visit, then we strongly suggest that you do. The drive south from Lake Sevan is truly spectacular. The last few kilometres of road were pot holed and slow going, but perfectly accessible if you drive slowly. Overall, this is a wonderful place to enjoy nature and relax and we loved our visit. Very highly recommended.

It is a place far away from everything, which gives it its beauty and romance, but it is not easy to get to, and there is nothing nearby (neither shops, nor restaurants...). The breakfast was very good with local bread, cheese, jam, tomatos .. The house is in the Arpa river valley, that is beautiful.

It’s our first time in Armenia, and this region has amazed us — both with its beautiful autumn nature and this charming hotel. Cherry Garden Hotel was a true discovery in this small town: perfectly clean, with a wonderful staff and a rich, delicious breakfast all in one place. We’ll definitely come back here during the cherry blossom season!

The best part is the family that owns the place. They're the best. Good to visit the monasteries around that area. You can also have a good homemade dinner and breakfast there.
