The hosts were superb! We have arrived late in the evening. they have managed to order us food from the restaurant besides and the waiter brought the food and wine to hotel's kitchen where we had brilliant dinner. The rooms are not modern, however everything was tiny and clean - what is more than enough for one night stay.

Artson B&B Vagharshapat is a private house turned into family B&B hotel. Arthur (manager) and his family live on the first floor with separate entrance, travelers stay on the second floor. Artson B&B is the same in reality as in booking.com pictures. There are: 1) Several bedrooms 2) Several bathrooms with shower, shampoo, soap and hair dryer 3) Open concept kitchen-living room area with everything needed for comfortable cooking and chatting with other travelers, watching football championship on TV. I cooked my own meal every day. 4) Two terraces with tables, chairs and sofa for morning coffee were used by travelers every day. 5) Towel, mirror, home shoes, tooth brush and paste – I used only towel as I had other things. 6) Laundry machine in the kitchen cabinet – I used it once to wash all my clothes. 7) Good speed free Wi-Fi 8) Parking lot in front of the house 9) Free tea, coffee, sugar and salt in the kitchen Swimming pool with garden was used by Arthur’s children, so I didn’t use it. My bedroom was very comfortable and the one I booked. All bedrooms have own key and you can lock your bedroom if you are going to sightsee. Everything was great in the house. Air conditioner was at the entrance area and fans in the rooms. Shoghakat church is at the end of the street within 10-15 minutes of walking distance from the house. There is a small family shop and bigger supermarket around the corner within 2-10 minutes of walking distance from the house.

“Excellent Apartment in a Perfect Location for Exploring Armenia’s Cultural Heritage” The apartment was exceptionally clean, well-equipped, and tastefully furnished. We especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the warm, helpful hosts who were always ready to provide recommendations. The location is ideal for day trips in the area. A visit to the Cathedral of Etchmiadzin – the spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church – is highly recommended. The site is deeply moving and rich in history. The nearby ruins of the Zvartnots Temple are another architectural gem worth exploring. Yerevan is easily accessible and offers a wide range of attractions, including the History Museum, the Cascade with its modern art and panoramic city views, and the Armenian Genocide Memorial at Tsitsernakaberd. The capital city blends vibrant culture with profound historical depth and genuine hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this accommodation – ideal for cultural travelers and anyone wishing to experience the authentic spirit of Armenia.

In rooms are very warm and clean. Person on reception was very nice and helpful. You can order food in hotel and there is fridge mini bar. Close to the airport 🛫 hotel can organize transfer to the airport which is great 👌

Vagharshapat stands out with its ancient churches including...

Vagharshapat stands out with its ancient churches including the first christian church built 1700 years ago. Visiting Armenia and not visiting Vagharshapat is a big loss. I’ve been in Gayane church and participated in the holly mass(patarag). I asked for a healing prayer. The priest prayed for my son and I noticed that he kept praying for us after we left the prayer room. He did not accept the money we offered but said” go and be healed”. It was so touching.

I had a wonderful stay at Richmind Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. I truly appreciate the warm hospitality and would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Picturesque, welcoming, like at home.

Picturesque, welcoming, like at home. Staff is helpful and very friendly. Many thanks to Narek and Zhanna hosts for their hospitality. The hotel is in a large private area of a free school of arts for children. It is amazing and memorable.

I suspect most folks visit as a day trip from Yerevan.

I suspect most folks visit as a day trip from Yerevan. We found this to be a great place to base ourselves. Not only to see Etchmiadzin, but to go to the Sardarapt Memorial and Museum, the Yazidi Temple (astonishing) in Akalnich, Zvartnots, and the Musaler Memorial. So much to see in this area.
