The house is truly charming, built in wood with large bay windows offering breathtaking views of the magnificent mountains. You immediately feel connected to the surrounding nature. A big thank you to the whole family for their warm welcome: to Artyom’s father, who drove us up in his 4x4, giving us an amazing experience on those winding roads, always with good humor and a smile; and to Artyom and his wife for the delicious dinner and the wonderful visit to Smbataberd. Location is great with excellent views over the mountains. The pool was a good refresher after a long and dusty day. Nice restaurant and good breakfast.

We absolutely loved our stay — everything was great from start to finish. The dinner was delicious, and the breakfast, which was included in the price, was both tasty and diverse. The cabin was cozy, perfectly clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed: slippers, warm blankets, hygiene kits — we felt very comfortable. The architecture of the cabins is beautiful and well-designed, and the view from the panoramic windows was absolutely stunning. We really enjoyed being able to walk down to the river — it’s such a peaceful and scenic spot. There are also walking routes nearby, and some places of interest are within walking distance. The location is very convenient for exploring the region by car. We easily reached Noravank Monastery, Areni Cave, some lovely local wineries, Lake Sevan, and even Yerevan. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming — we felt genuinely taken care of. This place is perfect both for a short relaxing getaway and for a longer trip exploring the Vayots Dzor region. We would absolutely love to come back and highly recommend it to anyone traveling through southern Armenia.

It’s our first time in Armenia, and this region has amazed us — both with its beautiful autumn nature and this charming hotel. Cherry Garden Hotel was a true discovery in this small town: perfectly clean, with a wonderful staff and a rich, delicious breakfast all in one place. Very kind and friendly hosts. This was the cleanest and most comfortable property we stayed in Armenia. Very nice central location if you are travelling through Armenia, but also perfect for longer stays. We stayed here two times when travelling to Tatev and also on the way back.
