This place is just fantastic. It is near Cobo Winery. Just 100 meters or so. This is why we picked this accommodation. We were welcomed by an elderly couple who do not speak any english, but were so delightful and nice. I was speaking to their grandson via Whatsapp so we got everything sorted out when needed. We also used google translate on site if needed. There are two small cabins on the site. They have two beds in each cabin, a fridge, table and well equipped bathroom. Everything is clean and the place looks fresh. Cabins are surrounded by a garden full of fresh produce such as cucumbers, peaches, tomatoes, grapes etc. And we were offered everything to try (things which were ready to eat). I believe going there during august is a blessing as more produce will be ready. And our kids still talk about this place. Just wonderful. Combining a wine tasting in Cobo winery and staying in Guest House Dimal Berat is totally worth it.

We had a very comfortable night and were welcomed like special guests. An excellent breakfast was prepared at the time we requested, based on our opinion. A lot of the food put in front of you for breakfast was fresh, delicious and most importantly, homemade( jam, cheese, yogurt, butter etc)

We had a wonderful stay with incredibly warm and welcoming hosts. The property is newly built, very clean, modern, and tastefully furnished. Our room was spacious, had a lovely balcony, and was very comfortable. One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant, where only homemade, organic products from the owners’ own farm are served. Breakfast was a true delight – featuring homemade butter, cheese, and jam, all fresh, local, and prepared with care. The host and his wife were extremely friendly and helpful. We were especially happy that we could take home a bottle of their delicious, home-produced olive oil. The location is quiet and peaceful – ideal for relaxing. What impressed us most was the genuine Albanian hospitality we experienced here. A place we wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who values authenticity and quality.

Spacious, clean and lovely staff. The breakfast was excellent. I asked for green tea which they did not have, but made a nice lemon tea instead. An hour after breakfast the staff informed me they went to buy green tea, and made me a cup. How kind.

From the moment we arrived at Vila Rexho, Arti and his family welcomed us with open arms and the warmest Albanian hospitality imaginable. They truly are the best hosts one could ask for. Each morning began with a delightful homemade and typical Albanian breakfast, a delicious start to our days exploring the beautiful city of Berat and its beautiful surroundings. What truly made our stay special was the incredible kindness shown to our three sons. Arti and his took them in their daily walk with the sheeps – an unforgettable experience. We joined them and made a picturesque walk through the olive groves on their property, offering stunning mountain views. This was followed by a delightful tasting of various traditional Albanian dishes and, of course, the local raki at their home. It was a truly authentic and heartwarming experience. Vila Rexho offers far more than just a place to stay; it provides a genuine connection with Albanian culture and the kindest of people. We wholeheartedly recommend Vila Rexho to anyone visiting Berat. Our stay was a perfect 10/10 stars, and we extend our sincere thanks to Arti and his wonderful family for making our time in Albania so special!

Villa Palma is one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed. The house is spacious, clean and comfortable, and is located in a friendly, safe community just outside Berat (walkable if not too hot). Elvis maintains the gardens and pool to a very high standard, and is incredibly helpful, friendly and generous, sharing delicious products from his garden with us. For animal lovers, there are rabbits and tortoises, plus a charming local cat who likes to visit and relax by the pool with guests. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
