Thanassis is the greatest host, warm, friendly and accomodating. His somewhat remote place rewards you with new and spotless rooms, great views, a fantastic breakfast with local products and otherworldly serenity! Was there with my adventure bike, stayed for two nights and when I left, it felt that I was there for a whole week. The last 2,7 kms to Bujtina KOEL are off-road (starting from St. Mary's church in Labovë), but are manageable even with a normal car if you are careful. Just follow the blue signs to Bujtina KOEL. If you miss the first one, as you will be coming from the West into the village of Labovë, turn left when you face the church in front of you. The place was very nice,convenient and clean. Very close with all the historical sites in the area with a very reasonable price. The owners of the hotel were offering outdoor activities, too,if you want to explore the landscape of the Drinos river valley. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was very comfortable and with a beautiful view. I would definitely recommend the place if you are visiting Gjirokastra.

A truly unforgettable stay! My husband and I had an amazing time during our stay. We enjoyed absolute peace and quiet, surrounded by endless greenery and right next to a historic site. The food, prepared by Gero, was absolutely delicious from traditional local dishes to his authentic pizzas, everything was full of flavor and made with care. But what truly made our experience special was the incredible team. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and we definitely made new friends. A special mention goes to Agush ,unbelievably funny, full of energy, and truly the heart and soul of the hotel. He will forever have a special place in our hearts. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Fantastic location with a nice view of the mountains, especially from outside. Very friendly hosts who brought us homemade local food without us asking and even spoke some english. Apartment was clean and roomy (at least for 2 people) with a relatively well equipped kitchen.

Lona, the location of the village and the Girokastra valley combine to form an explosive cocktail. Not only location of the hotel is extraordinary but also the building itself. Like the name says it is built from stones. Inside it is very pretty and you feel the love used to provide vistors a pleasant stay. A highlight was the breakfast outside on the sunny terrace. Finally room price is more than fair.

Extraordinary interior - extremely well located - very very clean, beautiful backyard and pool! Great view from the rooms balcony to the mosque the bazar, the castle and the old town center. Extraordinary good breakfast and extremely nice people running the place.
