My stay was excellent. The location is ideal, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Their hospitality made me feel at home. I would gladly return and highly recommend this property.

Hotel Muze is one of the nicest hotel I stayed in in a long time. Modern, elegant, beautiful design. The owners and the whole stuff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, relaxed and well taken care of, especially Zo and Ornela. Don’t expect regular hotel buffet breakfast here. Once you sit down at your table you are treated with 5star breakfast. We were always asked what we wish to eat and everything was just exceptional. We stayed in one of the family rooms and felt very comfortable. Rooms are very nice and you have everything you need, even toiletries. I always appreciate little details such as little dark face towels for example. Zoe the owner speaks very well English and I got to learn a lot about Albania and Ksamil region. Saying goodbye was hard. We really felt great and welcome. We are already planning on coming back to Ksamil next year and we will for sure come stay at Hotel Muze again.

The best hotel in Ksamil! 🙌 Excellent Service from the owner and staff from reception, kitchen, restaurant and Housekeeping they are all nice and friendly they will provide all what you needed with personal touch and service. The owner himself always ask if everything is fine and if we needed something. As we celebrate our anniversary they gave us wine and personal note they have exceptional service like a 5 star hotel.Its sad that we dont want to go home after we checkin in Sondor. The people are so accomodating. They have Modern Facilities. A newly opened hotel that has a big room with nice terrace and modern pool. The breakfast is also awesome and always fresh and wide variety of foods! the location is not far from beach and center. i wil really recommend Sondor Hotel for all visiting Ksamil and we find our second home in Ksamil when we go back next time. Surely will come back to Sondor Hotel! 🫶 More Power!

We stayed in November so we were totally aware it was out of...

We stayed in November so we were totally aware it was out of season and there would be limited options. We enjoyed the quiet streets and there was still a small selection of restaurants open. We also went swimming, the water was cool but still enjoyable. For us Ksamil was perfect in November but I would caution that you must be prepared for a very relaxing and quiet experience.

Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of the town at least seems to have opted to cater for those who prefer loud music / water activities on the beaches. That said, there is a good selection of bars & restaurants both in the centre of the town and on the main road into it. The hotel in which we stayed (Area Hotel) was excellent. Public transport is ok - there is a bus every 30 mins to Sarande or Butrint BUT it is packed & an experience in itself! Fares are 150 Lek (1.5 euro) each way. Taxis are available but cost approx 30 euro each way. Although card payment is accepted in most restaurants / hotels etc, it seems as though cash is king in Albania. Local currency (Lek) can be accessed once you're in the country by changing euro at one of the many exchanges.

Ksamil is a very beautiful resort with numerous stunning beaches and crystal-clear azure waters. There are plenty of quality restaurants offering delicious food at reasonable prices. The only drawback is that almost all beach spots are paid, meaning you need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas. The cheapest spots started at around €15 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella, while more premium locations charged €30 to €40 per set. Luxury cabana-style spots could cost up to €70 per day. Almost everywhere accepted euros, so it was not necessary to exchange money into the local currency. Alternatively, you could pay in euros and receive change in the local currency (Albanian lek). On average, €1 was equivalent to about 95–96 lek.

The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean.

The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean. Renting sunbeds/umbrellas can be quite pricy. If you go in the afternoon they would charge you the same price on some beaches. Driving in Ksamil can be quite hectic. The streets are quite narrow and not all the streets have pavements and on streets where they are present either they are taken up by shops or else the people do not use the land walk in the middle of the road. Be careful if you are driving there especially during rush hour and parking is not easy. The restaurants are really good. We tried a lot of them and the food is delicious and most of them have very reasonable prices. We were always treated nicely from the staff.

The people are amazing.

The people are amazing. They are all friendly and acomodating, and almost everyone speaks great english. The food is delicious! We went to several restaurants and all the food is great. Butrint national park is a must see. Although I highly recommend going there early (before 10 AM) to get a parking spot. Otherwise you will park 1 km-2km away and walk in the sun. The infrastructure is horrible. There are too many hotels and the roads are narrow and there are no or very little sidewalks. It is dangerous to walk around with small children because in august it was filled with cars that were driving too fast on those roads. Driving inside Ksamil and between Ksamil and Saranda is a nightmare.

Beautiful beaches and nature but overcrowded. We would not come back in July or August again. September could work. Roads are crazy and cannot cope with amount of tourists. Again, could be perfect in September.

Nice hotel/restaurant with beach access. The accommodations were fair. Our family had two Seaview rooms with balconies. Each room had 2 double beds and a mini fridge. The beds were okay. The furnishings were okay and filled the purpose. The bathrooms were newly updated and fresh. Great access to the highway but this may be a negative during the high season as you do hear the traffic. The staff were working hard to get the hotel open for the season. We were in Albania the first week of April. The breakfast was awesome!

Lovely place, super clean A bit difficult to find (googlemap is not your friend in Albania) The man who welcomed me was super friendly, breakfast was lovely and they have great parking compare to a lot of places in Ksamil. The rooms looked brand new, all come with a little balcony and it is really quiet at night It is close to the beach and the main amenities (restaurants...) I would recommend it to anybody who wants a bit of pampering in Ksamil without spending thousands!

This hotel is so nice! It is on walking distance to the beach and the center and a nice relaxed place to enjoy your holiday. What makes it perfect is the great service/friendly staff, and how clean everything is. The pool is amazing! This is the best hotel we had in Albania on our 14 days away.

This is a great great option in Ksamil especially for families!! It’s super clean, close to the beaches and has everything right next door. It’s very rare in such touristic places in Albania, that they will change your sheets and towels every day.. but they do it here!! I recommend it 100%
