We enjoyed the location of the apartment and how super helpful the Staff were! From helping us with parking, they really went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Our children aged 7 and 9 loved the upstairs bed and we found the apartment super clean, with everything that we needed. We would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone who wants to be close to the sights but still quite enough not to be disturbed by the night hustle and bustle.

The Castle Museum and Ethnographic Museum are must-visits, there’s so much history to discover. Kruje is charming and small.

Kruje is charming and small. You don't need more than half a day to walk through bazaar and explore the castle views and museums. You could stay longer if you are planning to do hikes in the area which we didn't have time for. It is a charming small town with great views and a nice bazaar.

Krujë is a lovely spot with both cultural and visual appeal.

Krujë is a lovely spot with both cultural and visual appeal. One day is sufficient to see what there is to experience. I stayed an extra day because I had work to do online. Be warned, this is a mountain down so you will be doing a lot of up and downhill walking. Reconsider if you have mobility issues.

Lovely and clean place.

Lovely and clean place. Though quite small, there's plenty to explore - picturesque Bazaar under the castle with loads of lovely souvenirs where everyone is sure to find something to their taste and budget. Pretty restaurants and places of accommodation. Small shops but well stocked with things you might need. Shop owners and people working in restaurants speak decent English and the menus are available in both Albanian and English. The grounds of Krujë Castle don't seem to be large but there's a lot to explore and admire. You can walk among the romantic ruins, relax and enjoy the vista. If you venture out in the countryside, you can walk in olive groves among grazing sheep, goats and cows and if you are lucky, you can meet a local riding a donkey. If you love hiking, there's Krujë mountain. The best thing about Krujë is undoubtedly its location with stunning views - and that was what we loved the most about the place!

I love the peaceful layout of the castle area and recommend the Ethnographic museum showing the way people lived from medieval times. The hiking trail up Kruje mountain was steep but there was a good zigzag track, and spectacular views. There is an interesting site at the top with lighted caves and a shrine to a Bektashi hero. This can also be reached by car along the mountain road. I liked to eat at the Horizont cafe on the mountain road with wonderful views of sunset over the sea.

Spectacular little town looking over a flat basin between the coast and mountains. Two new and interesting museums in the castle. Great shopping bazaar. Plenty of great restaurants. Worth staying 2 days to explore.

A good hotel centrally situated in Kruje - perfect for visiting the castle and the bazaar. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room had a great balcony overlooking the castle. Parking was easy and the attendant was very helpful. The rooms are perfectly good although slightly dated as is the restaurant but this did not spoil a very good stay.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Have big rooms with extralarge beds that were very confortable. The personal was very nice. The breakfast was buffet with typical local foods and was nice. Also we had dinner in the restaurant and was one of the best in Krujë
