This beautiful small hotel is well situated next to the beach - You can actually touch the water from your room's window (and I mean it!). Your room and bathroom are very well equipped for a great holiday in one of the most exiting places to visit in Albania. You can enjoy (for an extra payment) a great and diversified breakfast, offering a lot of options, and served on the sunny and beautiful balcony that looks directly into the sea and the small harbor. Lovely location, beach is easily accessible. Restaurants are across the beach, boats are available to explore secret and pristine crystal water beaches for swimming and snorkeling. Also, Himare castle which is also a worthy place to visit.

We really liked Livadhi beach.

We really liked Livadhi beach. It is not too large, was quiet when we visited (late September), and has beautiful views. It is a pebble beach, so can be a bit challenging to get into the sea. The water was clear and had a very nice temperature. There are several restaurants and bars, as well as some small supermarkets where you can get essentials if you want to cook yourself. For eating out, I recommend Dimitri's, which is at the entry to the beach. Great food (Greek inspired), very reasonable prices and efficient service. We did visit the main strip of Himare one evening but were not impressed. Could be anywhere (Greece, Spain etc.) and the food we had was average at best.

Himarë is the kind of place that captures your heart the...

Himarë is the kind of place that captures your heart the moment you arrive. The town is small but full of charm, with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly locals. You’ll find everything you need: beaches, restaurants, little shops, and a touch of authentic Albanian hospitality. The beaches are truly the highlight. From the main Himarë beach along the promenade to the smaller coves near Prinos, the water is crystal clear and inviting. Street parking is free and accessible. For those who love exploring, having a car is a must—nearby treasures like Porto Palermo, Aquarium Beach, and Gjipe (which requires a short but rewarding 2 km hike) are absolutely worth it. Himarë has both the charm of a quiet village and the energy of a seaside town. You’ll enjoy fresh seafood, traditional Greek-Albanian dishes, and the simple pleasure of strolling along the corniche at sunset. It’s not overly touristy yet, which makes it feel authentic and special. The only thing I didn’t like? That our stay was too short! Two nights are not enough for Himarë: it deserves much more time to be discovered and enjoyed. And next time, I won’t leave without trying the famous Greek gyros at one of the local restaurants. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a mix of beautiful beaches, authentic culture, and a peaceful yet lively atmosphere. Himarë is definitely a destination to return to.

Very cozy little town, amazing mountains. Has everything you need. Several grocery stores. Nice people, program options, hiking, crystal clear water everywhere, free beach, sunbeds if you want. Pleasant evening music. Good restaurants. The Great Chimara tour was amazing!!!

Our favorite hotel in Albania! The location was unbeatable, not only for the views but also for the surrounding gardens and olive groves. The room was perfect, it had everything we needed. It was impossible not to relax. 5 minute drive from Livadh beach and also from Himare. Irini was a lovely hostess, open, available and professional. Breakfast was amazing, quality ingredients, homemade jams, good choice and quantity. We were sad to leave!!!! The restaurant at the hotel next door is highly recommended!

The hotel was beautiful located right next to the coast which was lovely. It’s a much quieter area right at the public beach! However the hotel does provide you with an umbrella and beach beds that they own! The owners were lovely and the rooms were very clean and comfy! They had mini fridges for our drinks too! We enjoyed our two nights in Himare and loved the calm area as we were together as a family but had a very easy walk to some amazing restaurants nearby! They also had parking too!

Our favourite hotel that we stayed in in Albania. Very modern facilities and the room comes with fridge and kettle. Beautiful location and stunning view from the balcony. Pebble beach right outside and lots of quiet beaches with sun beds within walking distance. Main area with all the restaurants is about a 20 min walk. So glad we stayed here as was very peaceful. Also plenty of parking inside the hotel grounds.

Hotel is very nice, comfy and really clean. Location is perfect near the center and real close to the beach. Owners daughter Amalia is lovely and does everything she can to make your stay perfect. Breakfast is good and Diner is even better. I will advice this hotel to everybody who wants to stay in Himare!!!!and I would love to come back myself!!!
