It was perfect. The location was perfect because 2 minutes away from Himarë by foot, so all restaurants and bars very accessible but quiet because a little apart. Right on the sea, amazing. With a gorgeous view of the village, mountains and sea. The room is tastefully furnished, quite big, with all facilities (mini fridge, coffee machine and boiler, TV). The bathroom is really nice with amazing bathtub; for end November/beg December, just perfect. Artemis, the host is a lovely host, very kind and available.

The view from our balcony at Stonevilla Buta is simply stunning. The room was modern and clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. The wifi connection was great which was important as my husband was working whilst we were here. The room had a fridge which was useful and the shower was hot and good pressure. The property is slightly out of the centre and a short walk uphill but worth it every time for the views. Bora made us feel at home and went out of her way to get us a kettle and some mugs when we asked. She also dropped us at the centre of Himare on the day of departure which was great as we had so much luggage!

The place is wonderful: a piece of paradise. Out of the chaos but close to the beach (6min walking). Breakfast is superb and Rena is a great chef. Toni is a gentle host who always takes time for you. The room is very nice, clean and the sea view is beautiful. I suggest all to come here.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was good and secure (we needed their directions to fine the car park entrance). 10ish minute walk to town centre. All came in very cheap. The room was also very spacious for two people.

Lovely location, beach is easily accessible. Restaurants are across the beach, boats are available to explore secret and pristine crystal water beaches for swimming and snorkeling. Also, Himare castle which is also a worthy place to visit.

We really liked Livadhi beach.

We really liked Livadhi beach. It is not too large, was quiet when we visited (late September), and has beautiful views. It is a pebble beach, so can be a bit challenging to get into the sea. The water was clear and had a very nice temperature. There are several restaurants and bars, as well as some small supermarkets where you can get essentials if you want to cook yourself. For eating out, I recommend Dimitri's, which is at the entry to the beach. Great food (Greek inspired), very reasonable prices and efficient service. We did visit the main strip of Himare one evening but were not impressed. Could be anywhere (Greece, Spain etc.) and the food we had was average at best.

Himarë is the kind of place that captures your heart the...

Himarë is the kind of place that captures your heart the moment you arrive. The town is small but full of charm, with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly locals. You’ll find everything you need: beaches, restaurants, little shops, and a touch of authentic Albanian hospitality. The beaches are truly the highlight. From the main Himarë beach along the promenade to the smaller coves near Prinos, the water is crystal clear and inviting. Street parking is free and accessible. For those who love exploring, having a car is a must—nearby treasures like Porto Palermo, Aquarium Beach, and Gjipe (which requires a short but rewarding 2 km hike) are absolutely worth it. Himarë has both the charm of a quiet village and the energy of a seaside town. You’ll enjoy fresh seafood, traditional Greek-Albanian dishes, and the simple pleasure of strolling along the corniche at sunset. It’s not overly touristy yet, which makes it feel authentic and special. The only thing I didn’t like? That our stay was too short! Two nights are not enough for Himarë: it deserves much more time to be discovered and enjoyed. And next time, I won’t leave without trying the famous Greek gyros at one of the local restaurants. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a mix of beautiful beaches, authentic culture, and a peaceful yet lively atmosphere. Himarë is definitely a destination to return to.

Very cozy little town, amazing mountains. Has everything you need. Several grocery stores. Nice people, program options, hiking, crystal clear water everywhere, free beach, sunbeds if you want. Pleasant evening music. Good restaurants. The Great Chimara tour was amazing!!!

Staff there were extremely kin, thoughtful and really helpful and able to assist with anything. Got chatting to some people in the lobby and receptionist even got us rooms next to each other! - Ended up becoming friends and going for dinner with them that evening! Private beach was really nice too! To be completely honest, we had a nightmare in our previous hotel in Ksamil, coming to Seaview hotel in Himare really rounded out our time in Albania and left us with a more positive note, having left Ksamil with a very sour experience.

Perfect hotel for a stay in Himare, the bus drops you right in front of it and if you're going to Sarande, it's also same location. The hosts were perfectly nice and gentle. The room was comfy and big, including a fridge which is a bonus during summer. The perfect location of the hotel, 1 min from the beach is a big advantage. The breakfast is not a buffet, but works fine including essentials. 100% recommend

Great hotel with a beautiful view, nothing beats seeing the ocean as soon as you open your eyes each morning. The facilities are luxurious, best shower I've had during my entire trip through Albania, and the service was also excellent, all our questions and requests were instantly answered! If you are planning to go to Himarë, make sure you stay at Stonevilla Buta!

We stayed in the top-floor room right on the beach, the panoramic sea view from the room was absolutely spectacular! The hotel is directly on the beach and easily accessible by car. Just note: you really need to rent a car in Albania, otherwise getting around can be a hassle.
