We spent more than a week in Albania, staying in different accommodations each night. This accommodation was the best of our entire vacation. It is located outside the tourist areas in a small village with limited accommodation options. The room was very small but absolutely sufficient. The facilities seemed new and the room was clean. The best part of the accommodation was the owners, who have a restaurant nearby where they cook excellently and offer many homemade products - we bought their homemade wine, which was great. The owners were very kind and friendly. Breakfast was served in the restaurant and was excellent. We definitely recommend this accommodation.

A hidden GEM waiting to be discovered. The pictures posted on the hotels website and booking.com do not give it justice! Imagine after checking in the hotel, you come down from your room in your swimming gear, head down to the hotels reception, who will provide you with a big towel on your way to have a quick swim. The cath is that the hotels swimming pool is basically a natural river that passes directly in front of the hotel, surrounded by mountains and nature all around. One of the best hotels in Albania, the concept reviving the old house(building) is a genius idea, people coming from different countries looking for authentic experience, local food, nature, eventhough the gest house is restored or better saying updated with the latest facilities the structure of the building is as old as time . Permet is famous for their hospitality and cleanliness once u enter the room u can see it straight away it’s spotless,, i can say more and more but is a must go!
