A beautiful, small hotel with charm and character. The building is a renovated old house, transformed into a well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing hotel. The place was wonderful, ithe room was nice and very clean . We arrived at 03.15, but that was not a problem. The owner came and helped us. He and his staff are very friendly and they will help you with everything. Also with parking if needed. I was happy with the small rental car. The breakfast ( a la carte) was delicious and you could order what you want. And after breakfast you could go for a walk on the beach. I highly recommend this place. .

It's a brand new hotel, the staff was lovely, (we could communicate enough with English with them), the breakfast selection was simple but really tasty. The room basically didn't had any drawers but I didn't mind it. Great shower, facilites were new and functioning. A modern look in the middle of town, I was really surprised. Good air conditioning too, could keep the room cold in August weather just fine. It has an design just like my taste so i really felt at home. TV was an android tv, I could watch Netflix, YouTube, everything I wanted, they really thought out their rooms to the modern traveler. They gave some water bottles to drink every day, that was also cool and considerate of the owner. The bathroom mirror lights were also a really nice touch. The location was central, near some of the historic sites from Dürres. Could walk fine from the port to there with luggage with wheels. They also provided breakfast on our day of arrival for a small fee and kept the luggage before check-in so we could explore the city.

Durres is a nice relaxing place to stay, a lot of history.

Durres is a nice relaxing place to stay, a lot of history. plenty of shops, people were helpful, plenty of small bars most selling food at very reasonable prices. A walk along the beach is recommended where there are many restaurants with lots of variety. if travelling i would recommend taking a bus as taxis are rather expensive i.e. a bus from the airport will cost 7 euro whilst a taxi will cost around 37 euro.

When we visited the busy season had finished so a lot of the restaurants were closed. I think the resort would be very lively in the main season. Would recommend visiting before the middle of September

We hired electric bikes and rode across the city, which has lots of historical sites. The people are friendly and welcoming. The food is also amazing here. There are local homemade foods too. We came in September and it was still warm enough to tan but not so hot you couldn’t enjoy walking or exercising.

Durrës is a very diverse city, with both modern buildings and unfinished construction as well as scattered trash. The seafront promenade is long and pleasant, lined with plenty of restaurants and small shops. Public transport is available and inexpensive, with a bus ticket costing 40 lek. You can also find bike rentals for exploring the city.

I find that the banking situation is an obscene scam. All of my credit card purchases serviced by Raiffheisen Bank were declined at grocery stores for some reason. Several ATMS did not provide me with cash. I had to take cash out of an ATM that charged me $50 US Dollars to take cash out, because the card servicer wasn't approving the card transactions at the grocery store. I have not had this serious of a problem in any other country. I didn't really explore a lot. I wish there was a store that carried camping/hiking equipment. I think the coastline is nice. The restaurant prices seem to be reasonable. Mostly I stayed in my room at my hostel by myself so I can't really be reliable to rate the entire city.

Know where you are going and evaluate it accordingly! Durres is a city that is developing at a rapid pace, including the coast, the port and the city. The coastal promenade began to be transformed in 2022 and it turned out beautifully! It has one shortcoming, there is no garbage collector anywhere by the sidewalk, despite this, there is no garbage anywhere. Along the coast, you can still see the buildings left from the 19th century fishing village, some of them are still inhabited (!), in some places there is still a pile of garbage, beggars walk around in the evening, but the sea is fine, the transformation of the coast was very successful. Getting into the city from the hotel row by bus is inconvenient. It is nice to see how the city and the coast are completely transformed and modernized over the years. In 2025, three new hotels will be built on the hotel row, within a kilometer, and the handover is scheduled for 2026. Let's take a look! The food is pretty much the same everywhere, good, as are the prices, but the hospitality at the DELFINI restaurant is excellent! The people are nice and friendly. The traffic, oh my, you have to pay attention! The one whose car is ahead has priority. They honk, but despite that, they are patient and understanding with foreigners. In previous years, there was a concrete-lined beach area in front of some hotels, which was being cleaned up. Unfortunately, the concrete pieces can still be found underwater, which is very unpleasant to step on. Beachgoers throw the concrete pieces onto the beach, and the garbage truck takes them away the next morning. It would be nice to sift this out with a machine! In Italy, we saw a tractor that sifted and cleaned not only the beach sand, but also the sand in the shallow water. It should be done here, too!

I stayed one night in top view hostel and I can say it is one of the best hostel I have ever been. The place is great, just next to archaeological muzeum of durres and there is a roof where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the bay. I took the chance to work remotely one day and the WiFi is very good, perfect place for remote work. And the owner Jakub is a great person. He let me have a shower before going to airport, even if it was way later my check out. Never in Europe it has me allowed to do so. Only in Albania!

Location is about 40 minutes drive from Tirana Airport and is perfect stop if you want a quiet place to stay after the flight before hitting the road to explore south of Albania :) New hotel, big parking lot, swimming pool, bar and restaurant for your disposal. Friendly staff and beautiful environment to chill. Also you can take a wine tasting tour in the local vineyard nearby (walking distance from hotel). Great breakfast.

The location, stunning view, facilities, size of the apartment, and the host were just outstanding. We had everything as we expected on a higher level. Mario looked about everything, was very helpful, as a local gave us a lot of advice , service and provided knowledge about Albania . Downstairs they sell the best coffee in a cosy atmosphere . No doubt it is the best place to stay in Durres, I really recommend it.

I had a wonderful stay at Adriatik Hotel BW Premier Collection. The service was excellent, especially at the front desk—Klea and Erisa were incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout my visit.
