We booked an executive room so it was quite spacious. The hotel was in a quiet but convenient place near the attractions and within walking distance to restaurants etc. The owner was a delight and the staff were very friendly and caring. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.

Brand new hotel at the beautiful seaside . Rooms with sea view face the sunset and it is amazing . Great and friendly stuff , all speak English at least . Decent meals at the hotel for reasonable money ( we had breakfast included and had dinner once at the hotel)

While I don't like the name "Seaside"—there are simply too many places with that name along the coast, which is confusing—the hotel itself is a gem. The building may be a bit dated, but the recent renovation gives it a fresh, welcoming feel. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food in the restaurant was always a highlight for us. It's undoubtedly the best choice on this stretch of coast in terms of value for money.

This hotel gives you a lot of value for your money. It is located at 15 minute walking distance from the beach, boulevard and tourists spot. Tons of coffee places, Bakeries and grocerie shops nearby. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. A large bed and small fridge. WiFi worked super fast ⏩. The shower was very good and everyday the nice cleaning ladies cleaned the room. In the morning breakfast was being prepared, no buffet but freshly and it was one of the better breakfasts I've had in a while. Freshly baked eggs, sausages and cheese. You have the breakfast in the bar under the hotel, wich is a lively place where many locals come for a morning coffee or breakfast. The staff gave me such welcoming feeling, always genuinely friendly and helping me with everything. They really know how to treat their guests and I have no words to express how great they all were.

Durres is a nice relaxing place to stay, a lot of history.

Durres is a nice relaxing place to stay, a lot of history. plenty of shops, people were helpful, plenty of small bars most selling food at very reasonable prices. A walk along the beach is recommended where there are many restaurants with lots of variety. if travelling i would recommend taking a bus as taxis are rather expensive i.e. a bus from the airport will cost 7 euro whilst a taxi will cost around 37 euro.

When we visited the busy season had finished so a lot of the restaurants were closed. I think the resort would be very lively in the main season. Would recommend visiting before the middle of September

We hired electric bikes and rode across the city, which has lots of historical sites. The people are friendly and welcoming. The food is also amazing here. There are local homemade foods too. We came in September and it was still warm enough to tan but not so hot you couldn’t enjoy walking or exercising.

Durrës is a very diverse city, with both modern buildings and unfinished construction as well as scattered trash. The seafront promenade is long and pleasant, lined with plenty of restaurants and small shops. Public transport is available and inexpensive, with a bus ticket costing 40 lek. You can also find bike rentals for exploring the city.

I find that the banking situation is an obscene scam. All of my credit card purchases serviced by Raiffheisen Bank were declined at grocery stores for some reason. Several ATMS did not provide me with cash. I had to take cash out of an ATM that charged me $50 US Dollars to take cash out, because the card servicer wasn't approving the card transactions at the grocery store. I have not had this serious of a problem in any other country. I didn't really explore a lot. I wish there was a store that carried camping/hiking equipment. I think the coastline is nice. The restaurant prices seem to be reasonable. Mostly I stayed in my room at my hostel by myself so I can't really be reliable to rate the entire city.

Know where you are going and evaluate it accordingly! Durres is a city that is developing at a rapid pace, including the coast, the port and the city. The coastal promenade began to be transformed in 2022 and it turned out beautifully! It has one shortcoming, there is no garbage collector anywhere by the sidewalk, despite this, there is no garbage anywhere. Along the coast, you can still see the buildings left from the 19th century fishing village, some of them are still inhabited (!), in some places there is still a pile of garbage, beggars walk around in the evening, but the sea is fine, the transformation of the coast was very successful. Getting into the city from the hotel row by bus is inconvenient. It is nice to see how the city and the coast are completely transformed and modernized over the years. In 2025, three new hotels will be built on the hotel row, within a kilometer, and the handover is scheduled for 2026. Let's take a look! The food is pretty much the same everywhere, good, as are the prices, but the hospitality at the DELFINI restaurant is excellent! The people are nice and friendly. The traffic, oh my, you have to pay attention! The one whose car is ahead has priority. They honk, but despite that, they are patient and understanding with foreigners. In previous years, there was a concrete-lined beach area in front of some hotels, which was being cleaned up. Unfortunately, the concrete pieces can still be found underwater, which is very unpleasant to step on. Beachgoers throw the concrete pieces onto the beach, and the garbage truck takes them away the next morning. It would be nice to sift this out with a machine! In Italy, we saw a tractor that sifted and cleaned not only the beach sand, but also the sand in the shallow water. It should be done here, too!

It's next to the beach, actually we were there in winter. There is a bus station near the home. You can take the bus just 40 Albanian Lek from there to the city center. On the other side it takes just about 10 minutes until city center. You can reach also the terminal with that bus. All in all, place was clean, you can find whatever you need stuff for cooking. From Tiran to Durres takes just 30 minutes with bus and it's really comfortable Note: Sarande and Ksamil is better than Durres 😊

Everything! The room was so big and comfortable. If you travel with a baby we highly recommend this hotel. They have everything you need to make it a unique experience, big rooms, beautiful and safe pool and access to the beach. We enjoyed so much this hotel. The spa is very nice. The best of all the people, Ali, the cleaning ladies, the host, everyone! Now that we’ve been travelling for more than one week in Albania we can tell you this is the best hotel we have stayed so far 😊

Location is about 40 minutes drive from Tirana Airport and is perfect stop if you want a quiet place to stay after the flight before hitting the road to explore south of Albania :) New hotel, big parking lot, swimming pool, bar and restaurant for your disposal. Friendly staff and beautiful environment to chill. Also you can take a wine tasting tour in the local vineyard nearby (walking distance from hotel). Great breakfast.

The hotel overall was nice. The breakfast was good with many different tasty options. The server cappuccino was the best we've had in Albania. We also ate at the restaurant for dinner and lunch and it was really tasty with good service.
