I disliked initially provided room, however the reception staff was prompt to offer another room of higher category. Could not be more thankful for this, considering that it was done on the very next day of my check-in. Despite the hotel being in desperate need of renovation, the customer service was beyond any praise - very positive, professional and super responsive, all the queries being solved immediately. Overall, gotta recommend this place out of the properties in Ajman, in case you are looking for good value for money.

And I can confidently say that this second visit was just as outstanding, if not even better! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. A special mention must go to the reception team—Mr. Rajab, Miss Reena, and Mrs. Jennifer—who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their professionalism, unwavering smiles, and constant attention to our well-being truly set them apart. Every day, they took the time to check in with us, making sure everything was going smoothly and that we had everything we needed. Such attentiveness and kindness are rare and deeply appreciated. The apartment we were given was simply perfect—spacious, spotlessly clean, and exceptionally comfortable. It felt like a home away from home, only better! A huge thank you to the housekeeping team, especially Mr. Rassel and Mr. Nazim, whose professionalism and meticulous attention to detail ensured that our apartment remained immaculate throughout our stay. I book online and Paid they later told me that there’s no room available and I spoke to them they said they’ll refund since 24th Christmas Eve today is the 6th day no response no refund I just see them as scammers they’re not real I hope I can get my money back Because I still check the portals again they put it there that they still have 2 rooms which is all lies if you click on the link and pay they’ll take your money and later tell you. O room available that’s a horrible experience and extortion too bad experience and horrible

The property changed the price just a few hours before check-in, which came as a complete shock. We are still trying to secure a refund. I do have an issue with this practice; however, everything else was excellent. Furniture really needs to be changed now its getting way too old

I stayed in Ajman for two nights last week, and really enjoyed it. It’s a nice and busy city with a good beach and many shops offering reasonable prices. The only issue I noticed was the traffic during peak times.

Small city with all facilities available. Economical than Dubai. Ample shopping centers and restaurants to hang out! Love to go back and chill whenever want to relax! Good beaches and there is a walking bay around the beach also!

We didn't do much as this was a break on a trip back from Australia just to chill out. But if you want a quiet holiday this is the place nand if you want to visit the big shopping malls in Sharjah and Dubai the hotel offered free shuttle buses to both

The hotel was great, we had all we needed and staff was excellent. We enjoyed our holiday so much that we were sad to leave. The beach is amazing, and the food is very good. Ajman is a nice place, so we had long walks by the sea.

The view of the Arabian Gulf was amazing with sunsets right in front of my room... The Ajman beach is undergoing major construction and renovation ...Mermaid hotel is well placed to take advantage of these renovations...
