It's a local horse farm where you can get close to horses and cats! Region offers dark skies (Bortle 2, 1). We stayed in a quite day when there was no other guests. Probably, it made us feel extra nice about the place.

It was easily accessible, the facilities were exceptionally clean and warm. The room was spacious, tidy and comfortable. The host went above and beyond for us when our car broke down a few miles away, they didn’t hesitate to come out and help us.

Guesthouse Hvitafell was super clean, I loved it. The hot tub overlooking the valley was excellent and the bed was a 10. The kitchen has all you need, with tea and coffee complementary. All in all just an excellent place to stay in Laugar.

Super comfy and family owned Hotel, the staff was superb, tasty continental breakfast and good dinner, clean room and we could see the Aurora from our room window! Definitely recommend.
