The hostess could speak English and lives nearby. She was very helpful with access, showing me around and providing storage for my bike. It is a little town so she arranged for the bar across the road to make me an evening meal. Apartment is almost new.

This renovated 400 year old building took us by surprise, as a unique place to stay. Juan the owner was extremely friendly and hospitable, made us feel at home. We couldn't imagine a better place to stay in this town.

Small and classy hotel in a good location in Valencia de Don Juan. We parked on the street right outside the building. Check in was quick, easy and friendly. Room was very nice, great bed and shower, the whole building was quiet and spotless. There's a communal fridge downstairs to keep your beer and wine supplies cool. Good value breakfast too. Pool is in the garden and is covered in a perspex dome and is very nice for a swim when things get too hot. We should have stayed longer, Castle is a good one and the Sidra house at the rear of the hotel is good fun.

Posada Los Condestables is located in the small town of Villalpando, an hour’s drive from Valladolid.
