The place is beautiful. Cesar has made a great renovation of an historic building. He is a really nice host and provided fresh orange juice and nice things for breakfast. If you are biking or walking on the Camino, it is a perfect place to stop. The highway has very few cars and the village itself is really quiet. The beds are comfy and the rooms are beautifully decorated.

Newly renovated house, nice design. All the stuff you could wish for. Patio for BBQ in summer, or in our case, to park our trekking bikes. Enthusiastic and responsive host.

This is the best self-catering accommodation that we have stayed in anywhere in Spain. The hosts were charming, generous and helpful, providing a welcome present of bread, milk, water, coffee and even a delicious Cake!! The apartment is thoughtfully planned with the holiday visitor in mind, with hot water available 24/7, very comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and a cleverly curated outside space for al fresco dining. There is ample parking on the wide and quiet street out front and the location is perfect for access to the Monfrague National Park, which is a short 10 min drive down the motorway.

I think this is the best place I ever stayed. And I've stayed in a lot of places, via Booking.com and other websites. Everything about it was perfect. The space has been put together so thoughtfully, with everything a guest could possibly need. It's accessible (in terms of my mobility issues - no steps), pets are allowed, the heating is toasty, the bed was so comfy, it's very pretty... I could go on. Let's just call it paradise for guests. I really like Carcaboso too. It seems like a quite a special town, everyone was so friendly. I'd love to go back. The hosts are really nice too, as you can imagine - the people who thought well enough of others to put this lovely house together. Even though my cat caused a problem by hiding in a tricky place, we parted with a hug and a promise to keep in touch. Don't miss out on staying here!
