It was a magical experience I recommend staying for at least 3 nights to truly connect with the environment and feel amazing. The host put so much thought into every detail. This place is different from anywhere else I have ever been to. A cottage in the woods with no one around for miles, apart from other guests/residents in the other cottages. It was so quiet here, OMG, and at night, we could see the Milky Way (not too many locations on Earth left where you can do that). The nearest town is 20 kms away, for grocery shopping, but also that was really quiet. It was a salve for my frayed nerves after living in a big city. We spent Christmas here, and I prepared a home made meal because the kitchen is sufficiently equipped. The porch and interior of the cottage resemble what I imagine the homes of the first settlers to have looked like.
