There is free parking on site and a shuttle is available on request from George Airport, 71 km away. We had a wonderful stay at Buffelsdrift. The lodge was amazing and the staff were all very kind and helpful. The tents were comfortable and well equipped with fantastic views . We thouroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck and hearing the wildlife, it was an amazing experience overall! The food was excellent and the restaurant staff were so friendly and provided great service. We enjoyed the various activities, especially an experience we did with Eddie, he is a great Ranger, he is very knowledgeable and made the trip so memorable for us. We will definitely come back soon!

Each room and chalet at Garden Route Game Lodge offers either views of the mountains or the valley. They are elegantly decorated with thatched roofs and wooden furniture. All of them have TVs with digital channels and a safe. Fantastic room , food amazing , game drives exceeded our expectations , staff so helpful and friendly .

Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. There is a main deck with a splash pool, a bar, and a barbecue.

The rooms at Riverside are equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV, wooden floors and private bathroom. The wooden cottages have a separate dining room, a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. On arrival we received a warm welcome and Candi gave us recommendations for restaurants, hikes and a terrific hairdresser. The lodge is very inviting and exquisitely decorated, and it was nice to have the option to take a canoe on the river free of charge. Breakfast was delicious, the beds extremely comfortable and I could easily have spent a week here.

All staff members are very friendly. And last but not least: They have the nicest little cat we have ever met :-) We would love to return.

Everything was spotless and fully equipped, both in the kitchen and the living area, so you feel at home right away. Communication beforehand was friendly, quick and reliable, and there was always someone available on site in case any questions came up. You have plenty of privacy and the surrounding nature is stunning with a small pond where you can watch animals. At night you get an impressive sky full of stars that feels almost unreal. Overall it is a very charming and thoughtfully managed place.
